A recruiter contacted me asking if I was still looking for work. She told me to send her jobs from Robert half (not her sending me positions). When I did, she wasn’t assigned to any. When I asked to be connected with another recruiter, first she said she was the only one, then said another job was assigned to a recruiter in Burnaby. Then ghosted. I think she was trying to make a quick sale but didn’t offer me any help or send job postings. Not impressed.

Please keep an eye out for incoming lawsuit from me.

BEWARE. RH has very low standards for their recruiters (and how they communicate) and clients they obtain work from. NO standards actually. Recruiters either will ask you to have 4 rounds of interview and a 4 hour unpaid “working interview” for a 20 hour a week low paying maternity coverage role (3 month). They will expect to fully “commit” to the temp role and remove all prior commitments during that timeframe before being officially given the assignment. Or they will place you at a roach and rat infested desk (OSHA violations) with a clearly drug addicted supervisor and say that they were not aware. But when you make them aware, they continue to place numerous temps at the same assignment after each doesn’t want to return after 2 days due to the conditions. Or they will reach out to you for a role that they can’t even answer questions about the most fundamental details and quickly become rude when you don’t just shut up and do what they tell you. RH doesn’t care at all- they are ok with employers doing all sorts of illegal things and their recruiters being nasty to candidates. So if you have a solid éducation and resume, don’t degrade the value of your human capital with this agency.

They have illegally obtained my personal information off of the web, created a fictitious account for me on their website and provide no options to delete or alter the account. I contacted them via email to various depts to simply delete my information and remove my account off their servers. Unfortunately their website does not allow a user to do this with their so called account. Finally after some needed pressure and this bad review a person from their privacy dept sent an email to confirm they deleted my info off their website and servers. In response to their response note: I should not have to jump through hoops to simply request my data to be removed from your website or my so called acct to be deleted. I have emailed the privacy email stated in your Privacy statement along with other emails for your company. They all give the generic response to reger to the Privacy webpage and follow the Instructions... which say email the Privacy depth and or fill in the form. An endless circle to keep people from being able to contact you and get something done in regards to their privacy requests.:-( I have also filled in the tucked away form on the Pricacy page and I get the message "Based on the information provided we are currently unable to accept your request " Valid online companies that show personal info about people allow them to update or delete a profile. You don't and therefore should be considered a company people should be warned against.

I setup an account with RH two years ago. I was called once by a recruiter. The job closed as he was doing an initial interview with me. He never called me back and he ignored my follow up emails. I have kept my information updated with RH. They have few if any IT jobs in the Chicago area. Do not recommend them.

Very little communication with the recruiter, not helpful at finding a job.

My experience with this recruitment company was disappointing. I was very interested in a role but was told my application would not be considered due to a previous unsuccessful interview, which felt unfair and did not reflect any growth or new experience since then. I also expressed interest in other roles but did not receive any follow-up or communication. It seemed that not all applications were being reviewed, and some roles were still open while candidates were being interviewed. I believe all applications should be fully submitted, reviewed, and a decision made, rather than selecting candidates partway through the process. Giving only some applicants a chance is not fair, as many are not even given the opportunity to be properly considered. Recruitment companies should ensure every application is properly assessed, including those from candidates reapplying, and provide clearer communication throughout the process. Overall, this was not a positive experience. I hope this feedback helps and things improve as am sure this is a great company that helps many clients.
