I wish roadtrippers was all inclusive
I wish roadtrippers was all inclusive. What I mean is being able to plan an entire trip through roadtrippers without having to go off the app to book rooms etc. if it could be made easier to navigate to the destination and back, and add stops easier, that’d be nice.

Thanks for your feedback! We're glad you're using Roadtrippers and understand the desire for a more all-in-one experience. Your suggestions on booking, navigation, and adding stops are really helpful as we work to make trip planning even smoother.

Does not give your speed on the map vs posted speed also does not know or can find some locations to navigate to. New to this app so maybe I will have to do more research. Have been using WAZE or google map
Response from RoadtrippersJun 26, 2025
Thanks for the feedback! We do show posted speed limits where available, but understand it can be helpful to see more driving details. You can also launch navigation in apps like Waze or Google Maps if you prefer. Feel free to reach out to [email protected] with any questions as you get started!

Guidance system lacking
The guidance system did not pick the most RV friendly routes. It took us down one road in Branson that had a sign at the end that specifically prohibited Trucks and RVs. It also does not give any notice of road construction like most of the gps guidance system we have used in the past.
Response from RoadtrippersJun 12, 2025
Thanks for your honest feedback! We’re sorry to hear the routing didn’t steer you clear of that tricky spot in Branson. We know how important RV-friendly routes are. Our team is constantly working to improve the guidance system, including better RV routing and real-time updates. We appreciate you sharing your experience, and we hope future trips are smoother and safer for you!

I enjoyed the ability to automatically…
I enjoyed the ability to automatically load campendium sites on the map. The AI suggestions were helpful and the GPS options were nice. My struggle lied when I wanted to change dates or delete a stop it left that date empty and didn’t alter my arrival dates at other stops as well as the struggle to stay at one location multiple nights and having to put that sight in multiple to times to accommodate a longer than one night stay.
Response from RoadtrippersJun 12, 2025
Thanks for sharing your experience. We’re really glad to hear you enjoyed the Campendium and Autopilot! We are working to improve the ability to adjust dates and manage multiple-night stays, and your feedback is super valuable. We’ve passed it along to our team as they work on making trip editing even smoother. Thanks again for being part of the Roadtrippers community!

Road Trippers just ok
I want a road trip planner that allows me to widen how far I’m willing to look off of my destination for what I want to see on my way. I am giving it 3 stars as I like it better than nothing. I also want to search for multiple things along my route, not just one at a time. I can’t get my Road Trip map to feed into my iPhone. I build my trip in Road Trippers from their suggestions as well as things I find from other searches. I then feed the info into Maps. I have the premium edition, I likely won’t renew it and see if I can find something else

Hi there — thanks so much for your honest feedback, and we’re really glad to hear Roadtrippers is still coming in handy (even if just a little better than nothing right now 😄). That said, it sounds like you’re looking for some features that we do actually support, and we’d love the chance to help you get the most out of your Premium membership! You can absolutely widen the search radius along your route! As for sending your trip to your iPhone, we’d be happy to walk you through the steps for viewing and navigating your trip from our iOS app, so you don’t have to manually re-enter everything into Apple Maps. We’d really love to help you feel confident using these features before you decide whether or not to renew. Feel free to drop us a line at [email protected] and we’ll be more than happy to walk you through it! Safe travels and thanks again for giving us a try!

Great user interface
Great user interface. Unfortunately routing provided was unsatisfactory for a big rig. It took us through narrow country roads around Nashville and routed us off I75 and back on for illogical restrictions.
Response from RoadtrippersApr 8, 2025
Hi Larry, Thanks so much for the feedback - we’re excited to hear you liked the user interface! We’re really sorry the routing didn’t meet your big rig’s needs though. Our goal is to help everyone have smooth, stress-free trips, and we know how crucial it is for larger vehicles to avoid those tight spots! We’re always working to improve the routing experience, so we’ll be sure consider your feedback. Thanks again for sharing, and safe travels out there!

Useful tool for planning but needs work
Useful tool for planning. I update as the trip is revised so the itinerary becomes a diary for future reference. Also great for identifying things to do. Biggest negative for me is the itinerary in the mobile app starts at the beginning each time the app is opened. This was a 59 day trip with 150 waypoints so I got to scroll all the way through the itinerary a few 100 times. I suppose most users take shorter trips but in this case, everything the app did well was spoiled by this constant annoyance.
Response from RoadtrippersApr 4, 2025
Thanks for the thoughtful review! We love that you’re using Roadtrippers as a travel diary, what an awesome way to keep track of your adventures! That said, scrolling through your long trip every time you open the app sounds very frustrating. We totally get how that could take away from the experience, especially on such an epic journey. Yours is exactly the kind of feedback we need to improve. We’ll pass this along to our team, because making long-haul trip planning (and navigating) smoother is a priority. Thanks for sticking with us, and we hope you’ll take us along on your next adventure!

Good Start but needs improvement
Like a lot of the content and functionality of Roadtrippers, but since I started using it for the Car Play turn by turn capability really disappointed you have to navigate to each waypoint individually rather than to just navigate an itinerary. This really needs to be improved or Car Play integration really is worthless.
Response from RoadtrippersMar 18, 2025
Thanks for the feedback! We're so glad you like the content and functionality of Roadtrippers overall, but we totally hear you on continuous navigation. We agree that being able to navigate an entire itinerary with one click would be a huge improvement! We’ll definitely pass this along to our team. Buckle up, because we’re always working to make the app better. Safe travels, and again, we appreciate your input!
