IF I COULD GIVE THEM NO STARS I WOULD!! DO NOT LOAN FROM THEM THEY ARE CROOKS!! I bought a Honda 4 wheeler from local dealer and had a 9500$ remaining balance loaned through them and paid it off in one lump sum after 4-5 of 72 payments. When paying in full which was $9370 of a $9500 dollar loan there was a clerical error on the bank accounts I called immediately when noticing it and they ran it anyways then charged me a $15 insufficiency charge along with the $4.50 daily interest rate. I called and asked them to waive the $15 dollar fee willing to accept the daily interest and they refused! Customer service is junk! Go to a local bank or another dealer but I highly recommend not ever buying any off road vehicle through them!! I was about to buy a second one threw them being I’d pay it off a couple months down the road anyways but I will go threw a bank this time!! What a bunch of crooks!!

I had autopay set up I paid my payment…
I had autopay set up I paid my payment early. They billed me again on the auto pay due date and bounced my checking account. Customer service was no help and told me pretty much tough you signed up for auto pay the payment comes out regardless if you made a early payment or not. I have made auto payments early before with other companies and they never doubled billed me when the due date hit. They had recorded I had made a payment early. They won't do that again I turned off auto pay. If that is how they do business I will make payments on my schedule not theirs. I also plan to pay this mess off as soon as I can. I don't particularly care for the way I was treated and offered no help. Their solution was put a stop payment on the extra payment they took but I would not be able to use my bank account for the next payment if I did that. Really???!!!!!

# ★☆☆☆☆ THREE YEARS OF PERFECT PAYMENTS. OVER $15,000 REPAID EARLY. ZERO CUSTOMER LOYALTY OR CONCERN.
# ★☆☆☆☆ — ONE STAR
**CUSTOMER LOYALTY MEANS NOTHING TO ROADRUNNER FINANCIAL**
If you're looking for a finance company that values its customers, demonstrates a little common sense, or shows even the slightest interest in maintaining positive customer relationships, my experience suggests you should look elsewhere.
I financed a loan of **OVER $15,000 with Roadrunner Financial for a three-year term. Throughout the entire loan, EVERY PAYMENT WAS MADE ONE FULL MONTH IN ADVANCE. The loan was PAID OFF EARLY.** With my perfect credit record and impeccable payment history, this was a flawless, no-hassle account for Roadrunner from beginning to end. They received their payments consistently, ahead of schedule, without collection efforts, late payments, or any of the problems lenders ordinarily encounter.
**In other words, I was precisely the kind of customer any responsible financial institution should appreciate and want to retain.**
After paying off my loan balance, I contacted Roadrunner Financial with a simple, reasonable request: waive a single returned-payment fee dating back to the spring of 2024.
That fee arose when my laptop was compromised, forcing me to immediately close and replace my banking accounts for security reasons. The payment was replaced from a new account at the SAME BANK, ON THE SAME DAY. There was no late payment and no financial loss to Roadrunner.
I wasn't disputing a legitimate debt or asking anyone to overlook missed payments. I was simply requesting a one-time gesture of goodwill under extraordinary circumstances.
**Their response? An immediate, flat refusal.**
According to their representative, Emily, unless a fee resulted from Roadrunner's own error, they would not waive it. Period.
No meaningful consideration of the circumstances. No offer to review the matter with a supervisor. No apparent interest in acknowledging the difference between an irresponsible borrower and a customer dealing with a legitimate financial security emergency.
Apparently, even three years of exemplary account management, consistently paying a month ahead, maintaining an outstanding credit record, and paying off a loan exceeding $15,000 ahead of schedule weren't enough to warrant the slightest consideration of a goodwill exception.
Even their customer service process was unnecessarily frustrating. After providing identifying information to their automated system, I was required to repeat it because their system apparently couldn't transfer that information to the representative. And when I finally told them to collect the fee and close the account, I was informed they couldn't even process that payment through the chat.
Throughout the exchange, the representative seemed far more interested in ending the conversation with another canned "Can I help you with any additional questions?" than in providing anything resembling thoughtful, constructive customer service.
**The most disappointing part isn't the fee. It's the complete absence of flexibility, customer appreciation, or genuine concern.**
A financial institution certainly has the right to enforce its policies. But there is an enormous difference between enforcing a policy and demonstrating that you value the people who do business with you.
Roadrunner had an opportunity to turn a small, unfortunate incident into a positive customer experience. Instead, it chose rigid policy enforcement over goodwill, with seemingly no effort to explore an alternative.
**If a three-year, $15,000-plus loan, paid consistently one month in advance and satisfied ahead of schedule by a customer with a perfect credit record, doesn't merit even a moment of individualized consideration, I have to wonder what kind of customer Roadrunner Financial DOES value.**
I would not recommend Roadrunner Financial based on this experience. Their customer service left me with the unmistakable impression that the relationship matters only until the company has collected every last dollar.
**ONE STAR. A VERY DISAPPOINTING FINAL IMPRESSION — AND AN EVEN MORE DISAPPOINTING EXAMPLE OF HOW LITTLE CUSTOMER LOYALTY APPARENTLY MEANS TO THIS COMPANY.**

Do yourself a favor and stay away!
Do yourself a favor and stay away!! If I could give a negative star I would. We were late 25 days on payment because the account was locked and not giving us access to make a payment. Customer service said we will get back to you once we figure it out. Some time passed by and our seadoo gets repoed. And they through the most outrageous price to get it back. Not only that, they made us pay the towing company thousands!!! PLEASE STAY AWAY THERE SCAM ARTIST!!!

What a shame that reliable dealers use…
What a shame that reliable dealers use this company to promote their sales. Roadrunner is a joke for a financial institution. They must call 20times a month to tell me im past due. I have sent them records upon records showing that the payment was processed by their bank on the 2nd week of every month but they continue to call. 3 payments left and cant wait. Due yourself a favor and find a local bank to finance your toys.

I applied with Roadrunner Financial for a motorcycle loan received a letter that stated my app being denied. I read the letter stating my fico score which was completely wrong. Contacted Roadrunner talked with someone that did not help. I have descent credit and I pay my bills on time after reading the bad reviews about this company I would not suggest to no one using this company. What's real funny I applied with my credit union and got approved.

Bought a bike from a Facebook…
Bought a bike from a Facebook marketplace seller, showed me he payed off the entire loan on August 2nd, it is now August 30th and there is no sign of a title anywhere, between me and the seller he had the loan. If you guys can check on the status and let me know if the loan has been released or not that would be the bare minimum, I can give you any and all information needed to check on the title/loan status. And that would be the bare minimum.

Horrible
Horrible. HORRIBLE. Did I get approved for a motorcycle loan? Yes. Did I pay every payment BEFORE the due date? Also yes. Did I get calls every month telling me I’m late? Every. Fricken. Month. I went ahead and payed off the loan over a year early just to be done with them. Run. Road run away from this company. I really hope it didn’t negatively affect my credit. They would take WEEKS to process a payment that left my bank ahead of time. Fricken yikes. Never again. Lesson learned.
Response from Roadrunner FinancialOct 21, 2026
Hello Christy Ziemer,
We are sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with your experience. Upon reviewing our records, we are unable to identify an account associated with the name provided in your review.
While we cannot locate the specific details of your account, we can provide general information regarding our payment processing. Any payment received through the mail is processed as soon as it is received. It's important to know that if a customer utilizes a bank’s online bill pay service, the bank typically generates and mails a physical paper check to us. As a result, it may take several days after the funds are debited from the bank account for that physical check to be delivered via standard mail. We cannot credit an account until the physical check arrives.
We would very much like to review this matter to ensure there are no errors on our end. Kindly have the authorized account holder reach out to us directly at 833-288-1367 so that we can investigate and work to resolve this issue.
Thank you,
Roadrunner Financial, Inc.
