HORRIBLE.Within 24hours of picking up RV from Denver had electrical issues. After spending my time on the phone they sent me to a garage that would not even help. Multiple problems arising with no electricity and no backup camera. Spent so much time on the phone with customer service only to have no response and never sent a tech out. Was literally on the phone every day with issues and how frustrating. Another corporate company who can care less.

Pick up in Denver. Very unfriendly, needed to sign lots of papers without having seen the RV. No welcome, almost no explanation of the RV. I was made aware of the rules they have, nobody seems to care about me as a customer. The RV was not clean and I had to do the job. I will not go there again. When bringing the RV back, we cleaned it from the outside and inside perfectly. It was much more clean when we gave it back than when we received it. Nobody took notice. No comment. Nothing like, how was your holiday. Nothing. It was agreed that they bring us to the airport. After signing all papers they told we nee to wait another 1.5 hours. We took an Uber for 130 Dollars instead. The location itself is somewere in business disctrict, old, not even paved envimonment, nothing you would want to got to

Stay away from this RV rental company. It's literally the worst RV rental company we ever rented from. We've rented from another company 3 times before and never had issues like with Road Bear / El Monte. We rented it from the Seattle location. We had a really worn out tire that got flat. Their roadside assistance took hours to even give us a an ETA for when it will arrive. Then the spare tire started leaking air. When we rented it we saw another family that had experienced critical safety issues with the steering of their RV and it destroyed multiple days of their vacation. For your safety and precious time of your vacation - stay away from this company - rent from any other - for the life of your love ones and yours.

Die Qualität von Road Bear hat seit dem Zusammenschluss mit El Monte unglaublich stark abgenommen. Das RV das wir hatten war zwar noch nicht alt, aber so was von billig gebaut. Alles hat entweder gelottert oder geklemmt, das Furnier an den Türchen löste sich, die Spiegeltüre in der Dusche ist abgefallen, usw. Auch das Personal ist nicht mehr wie früher, sehr unfreundlich und überhaupt nicht hilfsbereit. Schade, aber nie mehr Road Bear in Las Vegas.

It is horrible service, and they robbery and extortion the money from your pocket when you return the RV, everything can not be fixed should be replacement, they charged me $1500 for all replacement parts at the end, I paid $3000 more total just rent for 3 nights !

Road Bear does not service their vehicles. It's easier to have the customers fix faults on the road. Our water heater did not ignite the first eight days. And we had two dead batteries replaced on the eleventh day. I was in contact with four different back country mechanics between Escalante and Moab. Road Side service where no help and Road Bear hesitantly gave a meager 750 dollar discount, though they ruined the first half of our 10.000 dollar American roadtrip. Road Bear "management" and "mechanics" let customers service the vehicles - because they don't. Avoid at all costs

Rented for nearly 2 weeks out of Las Vegas. Vehicle was only 4 months old but was already falling apart. We had one of the A-class models (FR3 from Forest River). Bed over cab wouldn’t open properly, oven wouldn’t light, sawdust continually fell out the roof vents all over the bedding material, door continually swung open while driving along as it was almost impossible to close properly, windscreen wipers practically fell off on first use and had to make an emergency stop on the highway to fix and prevent from being lost altogether and the tap in the bathroom was barely a trickle, even on city water pressure. We had one email correspondence during the trip with RoadBear who sent us a PDF on how to dismantle the tap (with what tools even) in an attempt to rectify the issue! On return of the vehicle at the San Francisco office the staff were basically uninterested in any of the issues we had experienced and focused more on some tiny damage on the front engine grille, for which we had zero excess cover for anyway. All the issues dampened what could have been an amazing experience and RoadBear’s reaction to the problems is very telling. In addition, be careful if you use your debit card for the $1000 “hold” (in an attempt to avoid foreign charges) you may find your bank actually deducts this amount and RoadBear made no attempt to remove this “hold” once returned, resulting in us being £850 down for 31 days. My advice - avoid!
