porch is black now, an irregular dirty color
I used the product in the summer on a brand new porch. I believe my son suggested i try your product. I used the product according to the directions but it didn't seem to protect the new porch from the weather. The railings, floor, steps , all of the wood is now a black color. Not sure what i should do next. i was excited to try your product. Now i am not sure what to do next. help needed.

Hi Marilyn, Thank you for reaching out and sharing your experience. We're sorry to hear about your project but confident we can find a solution! We have seen this happen sparingly before, especially in areas with high concentrations of pine trees. Essentially, a specific pollen or dust settles onto the surface and causes the black coloring. What we recommend is cleaning with the following solution. This solution will help lift the color and kill any potential mold/mildew growth. We recommending mixing 1/2 cup of TSP (Tri-Sodium Phosphate) and 1/2 cup of Borax to 1 gallon of hot water. Stir the mixture until fully dissolved. Scrub affected surfaces and then rinse thoroughly with clean water. For preventive protection, this same mixture can be sprayed onto the surface and let dry. Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions or concerns. We can be reached at [email protected] or (800) 339-9748. Thanks!
