Beware for rio-carnival.net !!! We have booked in October 2019 tickets for Sambadrom in Februar 2020. But suddenly 2 weeks before the carnival-show in Sambadrom starts, they canceled our tickets. We hope, we get back the money! We will never book again via rio-carnival.net!

It's a good company and it's a cooperative company with good leadership.

Don't buy your tickets here!! It's a scam. They let you pay for good tickets, but when you come to collect the tickets they will tell you the tickets where stolen. You don't get your money back and it's impossible to contact them!

If your going to the Rio Carnival (which by the way is a fantastic experience) then I suggest you look very carefully at where you buy your tickets from. We bought ours from Rio-carnival.net & had nothing but trouble. They have a very professional website - but IMHO that is where it starts & ends. This company pulls you in with very low prices - & yes they always say if it looks to good to be true then it generally is. They did not set up a proper individual account page for us for months, removed their t&c until it was to late to cancel, sold their own coach transfers which they simply do not run & charged 2 delivery fees for tickets & transfers (Despite their t&c stating one only would be applied & then would not refund) They then notified us of the ticket delivery arrangements & simply did not turn up at the place or time advised -- if we had not had been on tour that day with a local guide then frankly we would likely have not received our tickets at all. Caveat Emptor -- let the buyer beware. My strong suggestion is that you do your research fully (lots of other negative reviews about these online) & be prepared to pick a company that maybe charges a little more but one that provides a service -- which in this instance Rio-carnival.net simply did not.
