I would give negative stars if possible. The customer service rep hung up on me when i asked to speak to someone that could help me, because she could not. Second the new table saws are not compatible with the old roller stands. They dont sell the saw without the stand, making you spend more money thsn needed. My old rigid saws motor burnt out after 5 years and i had purchased the upgraded stand for it, which does not work with their new model. They make you buy things you dont need and make it so the models aren’t compatible with the old accessories, making you spend more money again on things you already have that aren’t broken. SCAM!

HAVE PURCHASED MANY TOOLS FROM RIDGID! MD#R250SFA STRAIGHT FINISH NAILER, NEED SERVICE AFTER 3 YEARS! FOUND CLOSES SERVICE 223 MILES AWAY IN LOUISANA. CALLED PARTS NUMBER GIVEN BY RIDGID COMPANY. THEY DO NOT CARRY IT. NO ONE KNOWS HOW TO GET ANYTHING!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR DOLLARS ON CHEAP STUFF LIKE THIS. SELLING EVERY RIDGID I HAVE! KEEP YOUR MONEY!!!!!

I purchased a set of drills 6-7 years ago. The impact drill has a bit stuck it want release and the power drill just stopped working. They can't find where I registered the drills and Home Depot only goes back a few years on their purchase records. Rigid said I can pay them to fix the drills. I have multiple Rigid products thinking of the life time warranty that apparently is conditional.

I bought a random orbital sander at the end of March 2023 and only used it once, around May–June 2023, to sand my deck. When I tried using it again yesterday (mid-May 2026), it no longer worked. I contacted customer service about the warranty and was told it was out of warranty, so basically “bad luck.” Apparently, I was supposed to register the tool within 90 days of purchase. Since I didn’t know that — and because the lifetime warranty is heavily advertised everywhere — I assumed it was automatically covered. Because I didn’t register it, the warranty was only valid for 3 years. The tool failed after just 3 years and about 1.5 months, used once, and they refused to help at all. The lifetime warranty was the only reason I chose Ridgid. I should have gone with Milwaukee or DeWalt instead — they’re more professional-grade and were about $10 cheaper. I definitely won’t be buying Ridgid again.

I bought a Ridgid small pipe wrench year's ago it's only 6" long and says made in USA, I bought it at a Hardware store and they said it had a lifetime warranty. I've only used it maybe 4 times and the other day the bottom tooth plate broke not the teeth. I contacted Ridgid and they said if I didn't register it they won't fix or replace it, I will never buy anything Ridgid ever again because they lie about a lifetime warranty. so I would not recommend Ridgid tools of any kind because they just don't stand behind their tools. And plus they would put you through hoops to get it fixed or replaced. So no I don't recommend Ridgid.

Customer service is horrible and I also spoke to the rep in the store. I have several Rigid tools and will not be buying anymore. I can't spend several hours driving to a service center and I need my impact driver frequently

Upon review of my account with Ridgid, I discovered that many of the advertised (on the package) lifetime warranty items have now been reduced to a 3 year limited warranty.

Buyer Beware No registration = NO warranty and be quick it , expires in 90 days I have 8 ridged power tools and a loyal customer before on line registration home depot issued warranty cards to be registered WITHIN 90 dyas of purchase , so the battery is not registered but it is a legitimate Ridgid battery So much for their Smoke and Mirror warranty , no registration no warranty there is no customer service in Canada you can speak to and i spoke with the customer Service "Manager " and listened to the same canned script, BTW if you need a Milwaukee battery replaced take the old one to their service location in toronto and pick up a new one HASSEL free So in conclusion they will not replace 1 18v RIDGID battery for a loyal customer with 8 tools but are very sorry the only thing RIDGID is their Policy
