Not paid after approved tasks.
It's been over a month. Every week they ask for payment ID and to select payment slot. I do that. Then they don't respond for 3 days and ask me to choose again.
They keep sending me backdated slots as well which expired at least a week ago.
There is no way to contact a human and ask about the issue either.
I kept all the screenshots of their Creative Trance project communication and false payment methods. Absolutely frustrating and horrible experience.

Watch out for a completely illogical entry exam.
The entry exam includes a guide that explains that you will have to draw rectangular bounding boxes around objects to label them. It then shows an example of a bounding box being drawn around a perfectly rectangular object. It clarifies that you must never ever include other objects within the bounding box.
It then presents you with the actual evaluation example in which it is completely impossible to draw a bounding box around the individual items without that bounding box also including other items.
By the nature of the image, you can either make sure your annotation boxes don't overlap, but miss some of the object, or you can allow your annotation boxes to overlap, but they will contain multiple objects. If you look at the problem logically, failure is the only possibility, by either one of two equally incorrect arrangement of annotation boxes. I'd hate to imagine that they consider the only other option to be a success. That would throw the integrity of their data sets into question.
They say they want professional experience in a wide variety of technical fields, but if you fail their poorly designed trick question riddle puzzle with no correct answer, they reject your application. I would imagine that they are screening out thousands of applicants who would otherwise be providing excellent contributions to the actual projects.
It's such a profound insult to logic and decency that I can't even recommend bothering with such a company. I'm sure there are multiple other equally absurd issues that are encountered by those who manage to win the coin flip of figuring out which incorrect way they want the boxes to be drawn.

This is a SCAM operation for collecting…
This is a SCAM operation for collecting private information. I applied via their daily LinkedIn posts. They forced ID verification and diploma upload to access the platform. I completed their assessment and scored over 95%, but they have taken no further action.
They are still posting the same project every single day while ignoring qualified trainers who already passed. It is obvious they have no real project - they are just a SCAMMER site harvesting IDs and personal data.

Hello Rory,
Thank you for your feedback. We understand your frustration regarding verification steps and allocation delays, and we’d like to clarify how our platform operates.
Identity Verification & Security: ID and diploma verifications are required through Persona to prevent fraud and to ensure our platform meets high safety and privacy standards. Personal documents are handled confidentially to confirm eligibility and are never sold or shared.
Project Allocation: Passing the entry exam and completing identity verification makes your profile eligible, but it does not guarantee immediate assignment. Task allocation depends on project availability, regional criteria, and specific skill requirements. We recommend regularly checking your dashboard for updates as new tasks and projects become available.
We are happy to look into your account status directly. Please email [email protected] from your registered email address with a link to this Trustpilot review so our team can assist you.
Best regards,
The RemoExperts Team

I want to share my recent experience…
I want to share my recent experience applying through @REX because I think other applicants should understand the Entry Exam process before investing their time.
I completed REX's onboarding and Entry Exam. The exam allows only one attempt. After being rejected, my profile displayed “Entry Exam” as failed and “Profile Rejected,” with the subsequent verification stages locked.
REX's own FAQ states that Entry Exam retakes are not allowed.
I contacted the recruitment team asking why applicants receive only one opportunity, whether there was an appeal or reconsideration process, and whether there was any practical reason to continue searching for jobs on the platform after my profile had been rejected.
I also explained that if there was no recourse, I wanted my account and personal information deleted.
Within approximately two minutes, I received a response explaining how to delete my account. None of my questions regarding an appeal, reconsideration, or the one-attempt policy were addressed.
What makes this particularly frustrating is that the assessment included a practical annotation exercise using REX's interface. While a tutorial was provided, applicants apparently have one opportunity to perform the assessment successfully, and REX explicitly states that there are no retakes.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend investing significant time completing a REX profile unless applicants are comfortable with a one-attempt Entry Exam and no stated opportunity to retake it.
I would welcome a response from @REX explaining why the Entry Exam is limited to one attempt and whether rejected applicants have any meaningful avenue for reconsideration.

Hi,
Thank you for taking the time to explain your experience. We understand why receiving a final result after investing time in your profile, tutorial, and practical assessment was frustrating.
To clarify, the Entry Exam is limited to one attempt, and this policy applies consistently to all applicants. When an applicant does not pass and no technical issue affected the assessment, the result is final: there is no standard retake or appeal process, and the remaining onboarding stages cannot be completed through that profile.
We recognize that this is not the outcome you wanted. Your feedback about communicating the one-attempt policy and its consequences more prominently before applicants begin the assessment has been noted.
We appreciate the time you invested in the process and thank you for sharing your feedback!

A zero for remo experts
A zero for remo experts: your verification process is so frustrating- a whole week capturing ID photos, ultimately what you get is personna rejected. If you dont accept certain countries, make it clear than subjecting people to all these crap. How real can we be? A total waste of time doing the verification alone. Fix your biased systems!!!
Response from RemoExpertsSep 7, 2026
Hi Betzy,
We're sorry that this remains unresolved. As explained in our response to your earlier review, the verification issue appears to be related to a mismatch between the name entered in your REX profile and the name order shown on your identification document, not because applicants from your country are categorically unsupported.
Please email [email protected] from the email associated with your REX account, include a link to this review, and mention the name-order mismatch. If you have already emailed, please reply to the existing thread so the team can review the issue before you attempt verification again.

Warning to job seekers
Warning to job seekers: RemoExperts (Rex.zone) requires you to submit highly sensitive biometric data, selfies, and government IDs through Persona. The verification system failed me, but they still retained my physical ID and facial scans. They collect sensitive identity data from applicants without providing actual work or secure, transparent deletion loops. Do not trust them with your ID." I emailed both company remo & Persona and they are both not helpful and cannot say why my verification failed.
Response from RemoExpertsSep 7, 2026
Hi,
We're sorry that you haven't received a clear explanation regarding your verification result.
REX uses Persona to verify applicants' identities. Persona processes the digital ID images, selfies, and related verification data submitted during this process. Completing identity verification does not guarantee project placement, as opportunities depend on current business needs and role-specific requirements.
Verification may fail for several reasons, such as profile information not matching the identification document. However, we cannot determine the reason for your individual result from this review alone.
REX’s Privacy Policy explains that general personal information is retained for six months following the user's last interaction with the platform and is then deleted or irreversibly anonymized, unless a longer retention period is required by law or for other permitted purposes: https://www.rex.zone/contact-us/privacy-policy
You can request deletion by emailing [email protected] from the email associated with your REX account. You can also delete your account through Profile → Account → Delete Account. Both routes initiate deletion in accordance with applicable privacy laws and REX's retention requirements.
Persona's policy states that ID and selfie scan data is permanently destroyed after identity-verification services are completed or within three years of the user's last interaction, subject to customer instructions and legal requirements: https://withpersona.com/legal/privacy-policy#identity-verification
You can also submit an access or deletion request through Persona's Privacy Portal: https://withpersona.com/privacy-portal
Since you have already contacted us, please reply to your existing email thread and include a link to this review so the team can locate your correspondence and examine the verification issue further. If your account and associated information have already been deleted, the records required to investigate the failed verification may no longer be available.

No response from support
I mistakenly input a wrong verification code and my personal verification was rejected. Since March I have been sending emails to support seeking assistance but not even a single response after 4 emails. I am based in South Africa, passed the entry exam with a score of 97.22% and I used my passport for my ID verification. I truly expected that support would help as l believe the mistake made does not warrant persona verification failure without being even a few more attempts
Response from RemoExpertsJun 26, 2026
Hi Tavonga,
Thank you for your feedback, and we’re sorry for the frustration this has caused.
Please note that persona verification decisions are not directly controlled by our team.
Kindly share your application email so we can look into this further and assist where possible.
