Revo AmericaReviews of revoamerica.com

I gave a street address in another town for delivery. They sent it to my post office box instead !! Contacted them and got ‘Don’t know why’ !! Sales order was correct address. Two hour trip to retrieve it !!

I set my DVR to Revo because it was defective right out of the box they gave me a FedEx return label to send it back to them I was towed as soon as they got it they would put a new one in a box and send it to me right away well they did not do that in fact when I called them they said later on today you should have a tracking number that never happened so I called the next day The guy says it is in the warehouse on a pallet waiting for FedEx to grab it you will have a tracking number later this evening that never happened so what’s the story here? Is Revo playing a game I am without my video surveillance system because they failed to do as I said they were going to do Russell Chadwell Decatur Illinois

Very hard to follow instructions where do I find the verify code to sign up ? No instructions very bad

Giving 2 stars only because I received the product. I ordered cameras around Aug. 8-9, immediately got an email saying the order was processing. I had no other correspondence until a few days ago when I called, and the customer support rep said they couldn’t see my order but they would call me back. A few hours later I get an email that my order shipped. When I sent an email asking what happened, the response was that the product was back ordered and they just received the new supply to ship out. Pretty convenient that the new supply arrived and my product shipped an hour after I called to complain.

i ordered cameras the 29th of june, rec'd and email to call because the name didn't match the adress they had on file. I called and was advised there was a concern the order was fraudulent. I assured her it wasn't so she said she would get the cameras would make it into the mail the next day. 3 weeks later wondering where my order was at, called to find out the cameras were back ordered and were scheduled to arrive there on the 25th of July. They would be sent then... There was no communication from them and I still haven't rec'd my order.

I'm torn about this review... I've had a Revo system for about 7 years. It has worked perfectly and I LOVE it. One of the cameras recently went out and I ordered a replacement on July 2. It is now July 23 and it still hasn't shipped. I called on July 18 and a gentleman told me that they were behind because of the holiday sale. I called again yesterday (July 22nd) and a gentleman on the phone told me that it was backordered and would be in around July 25. That would have been nice to know around July 3rd. I love their products, but their communication skills could use some work.

Support was no help app shutting down and after notification of movement the camera doesn’t open for review

I have four REVO cameras and a REVO DVR circa 2014. I have never been able to connect to these cameras from the outside world. I am on Verizon MBB (and don't feel like paying VZ $500 for a static address so I can connect externally ... possibly). I just downloaded REVO Ultra. What a joke. All I want it to do is access the REVO DVR internally to my own LAN (or camera IPs separately) and it can't even do that. BTW ... um, Java is kind of passé now. If the only way to connect to a REVO system is with IE running Java .. 2003 called and wants it's browser back. Just FYI. If you want flexibility and quality at affordable prices ... go with Amcrest. Good high quality PTZ/HD cams at affordable prices and easy to set up P2P systems accessible from desktop computer or phone. Forget REVO. They are still dependent on yesteryear techonology.
