Good product! We panicked when our daughter lost her 800 dollar retainers. Retainers Direct came to our rescue! Great product. Just wish the shipping was quicker.

Excellent customer service and very fast shipping. Only two complaints are that the retainers have a lot of excess material, causing me to cut my gums, and 75% of my retainers fit perfectly (the bottom retainer, and half of the top), but half of the top retainer does not fit very well and sort of "floats" over my teeth. They work well enough, and for the money paid these can't be beat.

Excellent customer service. They made good on their money back guarantee promise. I wish they provided a pre-paid label.

My only recommendation would be to send off the same size trays the orthodontists use. I had to use a small for my lower and large for my upper & due to that when I wear both retainers at night, my bite is off for a couple of hours in the morning (I’m assuming it’s due to the different sized trays). Other than that the retainers are better than I expected. The plastic seems thicker & stronger then the ones I have received in the past from my dentist.

Service was great! It took a while to get my retainers back, but they fit pretty well and for the price you can't beat this service!

This product was easy to use to make the impression. I had contact with their customer service about the delay of the USPS which worried me due to possible fitting issues once it was received. There customer service was prompt in answering my concerns. When I received the retainer it was tight on my daughter's bite but she was able to use it more comfortably after a day or so. My advice is to opt for the quicker shipping options and pay the extra shipping fee. The price of the retainer was very reasonable. I would use this company again for retainer replacements, if needed, in the future.

Here is an update to my post below. I decided to pay the additional fee for more putty. I took more impressions and sent them in. I received the retainer today and it is perfect! Thanks to Darren and the team, the retainer fits and is comfortable - well as comfortable as retainers can be. I also changed the rating from 2 to 4 stars. Original review When I received my retainer, it contained a note from the technician (Lisa)indicating she had a challenging time with my impressions; especially, on the upper left side. I appreciated the attention & the note. Unfortunately, there was/is an issue with the back left side - the retainer is too long. I didn’t give the two stars because of Lisa’s work. I gave the two stars because of the response I received from Darren when I reported the issue. In his email, he indicated that they had there best person to work on my retainer, and, as I could see, there wasn’t a lot of anatomy. There was no, sorry they did not fit properly. It was more of, well we did the best we could and the only way to fix the problem is to take new impressions. Here the link to order more putty. While I believe the team takes pride in their work, there are going to be times when things don’t work out as planned. My email simply asked for next steps and I received attitude. Lisa- thank you for all of your work and your efforts, they are greatly appreciated. Because of the response I received when reporting an issue, I’m not sure I will send in new impressions- nor will I recommend this service.

The retainer was very snug when it first arrived but seems to be settling in now. Shipping was super fast both ways and the instructions for taking the impression were very clear. I think it's worth it for the price and convenience of not having to go to the orthodontists office.
