This is a great option for people looking for a new and affordable retainer. My dentist was going to charge around $500 to do a bulk order of retainers for me. Their office didn't offer a single retainer option which was frustrating, so I found Retainers Direct. It was very convenient and the turn around was super fast. I was really impressed with the communication with Retainers Direct as well. They were quick to ship everything, they sent me a notification when they received my impression, and then they shipped a retainer back to me shortly after. My critiques are that it's kind of hard to make the impression without any mistakes. I'd definitely order an extra putty. I sent them multiple impressions to choose from but even then they said there was some distortion with my impressions along the gum line and various tooth surfaces. They did their best to accommodate and the retainer they sent me seems to fit well. At first it felt really snug, but that feeling quickly went away. They mentioned that it loosens up quite a bit during the first week of use. Another critique I have about the retainer is that it doesn't feel as durable as my old one. The plastic is less thick and feels like it could snap apart much easier. That just means I have to be more delicate with it though, no problem. I still think it seems like it's good quality and it's DEFINITELY worth the price! One last thing, they also provide you with a nice retainer case to keep it in. I am very impressed with Retainers Direct. Thank you!
