I had two respectable individuals review my résumé after it was completed and did not receive a good review from either one. One reviewer works in Human Resources and advised that it was not an easy resume to read and navigate. The other was a VP of a top tier company and advised me to start over completely. This was not money well spent….. I was trusting that the company was going to give me a relevant resume that companies are looking for in individuals. This did not deliver.

The service provided would be better if you don't have a resume already. I expected the writer to give input, it seems that the service is cut and paste not tailored for the individual.

The writing for my resume was pretty good but lacked understanding of what was most important to include in my qualifications profile given that my experience is in education, nonprofit, and philanthropy. There were several grammatical and punctuation errors. The cover letter was not usable, so I shared my current cover letter and asked for it to be shortened. The LinkedIn profile was not usable for me, especially the "about me" section. Some of the sentences didn't make sense and it appeared to highlight financial and operational management (which is not my highest priority). The posting of my resume was OK but I had to go into all 25 sites and make corrections because none of the dates of my job experiences were correct.

To hard to communicate Pretty much just copy paste my old resume No re writhing was done I could have done the same job in 15 min

I am disappointed with the service I got and would not recommend this company to a friend or colleague. Pros: My resume is better than it was before, I will say that, which is why I rated 2 stars vs 1. Was it significantly better? No. Cons: 1. You get the first draft (resume only) in the 4 day time frame but the overall process took almost 3 WEEKS. When you are actively applying to jobs, that is a really long time and dozens of resumes going out. 2. The first draft had a ton of grammar errors. It took me over an hour just to proof read her work. When I complained about the lack of attention to detail and grammar errors, her reply back also contained errors! Very very unprofessional. 3. The cover letter and thank you letter were pretty generic and not very customized. I also felt rushed to finalize these drafts even though I was not completely satisfied. Overall I wish I had gone with a different company that was more professional with the product they gave me and valued the timeliness of the final drafts.

I called your firm asking if you could help me with creating a new federal required narrative style resume by a certain date. I was told that yes you could and you had someone with knowledge of the job field. I had to rewrite sections of the resume. And did not have it by that date I was promised by your company. I am the one who finished writing it in order to reach that deadline. Your method of communication is very poor and archaic and needs some work also.

No what I expected. Wish the resume was better

My experience was okay. The first draft had alot of grammar issues and the writers communication needs work. By the time I finally got to talk to the person writing the resume so I could find their comments, 6 Revision laters, and the problems finally fixed after 2 to 3 weeks; the job was filled before I got the completed resume. Wasted $250.00 dollars on a specific resume for a specific job that is no longer available. I did not get the completed resume in time to apply for the job. The final project was good but was supposed to $250.00 ended up cost more like $269.00. Not wasting anymore money on their services.
