Customer service severely lacking
Update #2: I did receive my device with the correct tooth color. It fits perfectly, color is correct, and teeth shape is decent. It's not perfect but I am still happy with the appearance. Update: After directly emailing their head of customer service this morning (Wednesday 8/23), my device is now on the way via UPS overnight. Fingers crossed they got it right the 4th time. I started the process of getting my device the end of May. Resetsmile was responsive and everything seemed to be going smoothly. I received my first device and it was painfully too tight. No problem. They responded quickly to my emails and had a custom impression set delivered to me in a reasonable amount of time. Received my second device, yay! It fit great but they changed the color of the teeth, the one thing I had stressed I was happy with and to not changed. And the front teeth were clearly shorter than my other front teeth. Simply placing the device in the model clearly showed the issue. At this point I'm starting to be impatient. My sisters wedding was coming up the beginning of August, and a process I thought I had left plenty of time for, was getting dragged out. Communications at this point were slowing down. I'd go days without any response to my inquiries and concerns. Long story short, I didn't have my device by my sisters wedding. Over two months after I started. Despite assurances that I would receive priority because of the issues. After the wedding I got my third device. Yay! Fit and teeth are great. Not so great, they hadn't fixed the color of the teeth. Something I stressed repeatedly that I had been happy with when I received the first device. It took days to receive a response about the problem and I didn't receive a response until I said I was at the point I wanted a full refund. I was told they would correct the color issue and send a 4th device today. Three emails sent today, no responses, and no shipping confirmation. The device I've had for several years now was also done from home and took three weeks from start to finish. It was much less expensive. I went wuth reset smile because I thought their technology offered the best chance of getting the closest match to my own teeth as possible and I thought the much higher cost would translate into a better product. Had communication been better, were they more proactive in providing adequate customer service I wouldn't be leaving a bad review. As of yet, I still don't have a device that I can feel comfortable in and I'm wishing I had just gone with the cheaper manufacturer. I will note they have given me a $150 refund, but even with that I'd still have paid half of what I've paid. I don't write reviews normally, I've never left a bad review, but I believe I have been very patient and understanding thus far. If you want to provide good customer service you have to communicate. When mistakes are made on your end, you should work to ensure they aren't repeated.
