I saw a recommendation for this company on ask.com when asking about if it was possible to just replace lenses and ordered the same day. Website says the turn around time is five days from the time they receive your glasses. After three weeks I emailed the status update address from the website and heard nothing back. Then I tried calling all the phone numbers listed and they all answered with a recording saying the voicemail was full. So then I went to do the research on the company I should've done before I ordered and it was terrible. They have a F rating on the better business bureau site and lots of terrible reviews from customers on sites like this. So I emailed the woman stephanie who had emailed me about the rx in the beginning and she got right back to me and said she got the new guy covering for her up to speed and they were all set to get my order ready. One month later which was two months since I originally ordered I emailed again to ask what the problem was. I got a response this time from someone named ed he said that my order slipped through the cracks during some changes at the company but that he would stay on top of it and send it overnight when they were done. Sure enough three days later I got an email that my order was ready and being shipped and the next day I got the glasses. The lenses were perfect and they even tightened the frames for me. So it took much longer than promised, but the customer service was good and the product was perfect. If you have a problem with this company the only way to get a hold of anyone is through email.

Bought lenses and mailed my frames in. I checked their webpage box that says " let us contact your optomotrist and get your prescription details for you". ok, that sounds good. Three days AFTER they recieved my lenses (i tracked the shipment) they contact me.. " hey, we can't get your prescrition info becuase of privacy laws". ..then why present it as an option? I email my prescription that day. Four days later I get an e-mail "thanks for the info". Fast forward 11 days...nothing. no word, no response to e-mails. Nothing.

I placed an order this Feb. Received back within 10 days. The customer service took care to make sure you make no mistake about the order ( which I almost had done) Good quality! And I am very happy the service.

Two Bvlgari frames were shipped and their lens replaced. I must say that Stephanie stayed in contact with me despite several issues with the East Coast weather. I received my prescription eyeglasses and the quality of the work done is just amazing. I would recommend anyone to consider this service as it the price is just right and the work and materials are of high quality!

Well, Eddie answered my e-mail inquiry - called me and walked me through everything - he was so incredibly helpful and a wonderful representation of what customer service should be. The Glasses were shipped to me quickly and they are gorgeous. I would normally be a little uncomfortable with buying something like this on-line, but I had seen a recommendation on-line in my search and took a chance. I was definitely rewarded.

RLE does a great job. I've sent them two different pairs of frames, one of which was a vintage pair from a thrift store, and they've created lenses that fit and function perfectly. The quality of the lenses has been exceptional and they've got great customer service.

This is my personal, first experience with RLE, and it has been a totally nightmare! I have been doing online shipping for 8 years, and this is no question the worst experience I have ever had! I ordered a high index lens in Sep. 2013! I shipped my frame and received the glasses back fairly quickly. But the nightmare comes when I have to return it for some defects. First, it took me over 10 times trying to reach somebody to discuss this issue. Secondly, the rep. did not mention any thing about "return authorization number", instead, I was advised to contact [name] at [private data]. I was lucky enough to spoke to [name] once, and discussed the issue. [name] suggested me to ship lenses and frame back (74 E Main St, Plainville) for a potential repair. I shipped them back in Nov. 2013. No heard backs for months! I have tried numerous times trying to reach [name] but no luck. My order and personal information was taken many times but my lenses and frame was not able to be found. No body called me to update the case, although I was promised a next-day call back over and over again. It is unlikely that USPS lost this package, more likely, they could not find the box in the corner. So what happens to me now is that, I lost my $400 frame, $150 for the lenses, hours of hours of time wasted, and frustration. The order # was 2613. So this is a 100% true story.
