I ordered Essilor Accolade Freedom Digital Progressive Clear Trivex Lenses w/ AR Coating a few weeks ago. A nice sales guy was in touch with me via email the same day and worked with me to make sure that he had the right info for my segment height and pupil distance. I got the lenses back after not too long (I sent in my frames to them and they installed them for me). They did a great job and I will use them again and tell my colleagues.

I liked my glasses, they did a great job and the turn around time was fast. I would order from RLE again.

I ordered reading lenses but what I got for $131 actually made reading impossible with them. When I emailed them, I got this reply: "Hello! The lenses you ordered would not work for reading, You ordered a single vision lens, That lens does not include the ADD portion of an RX. They would only be good for distance. Did you mean to order a Progressive (Bi-Focal)? " The prescription was not for distance. Since when do readers require bifocal lens? The Lens Factory in Louisville has been wonderful. Emails are answered promptly and they even gave me a discount offer that came out 2 days after I placed my order. I highly recommend them. In reply to RLE : So my order that said ADD 2.50 is not the reading prescription? Single Vision Clear Polycarbonate Lenses Code: L-SV008l Options: Select Your Frame Type: Full Plastic , O.D. SPH (Right): -0.50 , Right CYL: +0.25 , Right Axis: 180 , Right ADD: +2.50 , OS Left SPH: +0.25 , Left Add: +2.50 , You lied that this was NOT on my prescription, your website states you have a complete in house lab (yet on replies to some complaints you blame the problem on a lab you no longer work with), and the mailing address for the frames is in South Windsor but the glasses were returned from an East Hartford address in a box that had previous labels from Newton Eyecare in MA and Spectera Vision Labs in MD. No wonder your BBB rating is "F". My only mistake was ordering from you in the first place.

I can recommend Replacement Lens Express, despite the many negative reviews out there. THOUGH YOU MUST HAVE PATIENCE WITH THEM!! I got GREAT (external reference) lenses from them, shipped out from the lab that they use, (external reference). It took a long time to get my glasses back with the new lenses--almost 4 weeks, and they did forget to make them with Transitions, despite the fact that I upgraded my original order (via their instructions) to add the Transitions (via a separate order). They offered to remake the lenses over with the Transitions, or give me a refund. I opted for the refund. In trying to communicate with the these folks at Replacement Lens Express, it's hard--they answered the phone once out of the 8 time I tried calling. They did answer emails. but it took a while. Sometimes I had to reiterate several times over the emails what I was trying to say, what I was asking for, before they seemed to understand, to get it (and what I was trying to convey wasn't really complicated). Like I said, you need patience when dealing with these folks. But they can deliver, or at least they did for me, excellent brand name progressive jenses purchased online, that were $200-$300 cheaper than my local OD's offices, and every bit the optical equal. Mine came with the (external reference) certificate of authenticity, and they lenses had the (external reference) markings where they should. They were the real deal!

They rushed this job to me - I got what I needed when I needed it. No complaints. Also the price was basically wholesale. I don't know how they do it. Will go to their website the next time I need frames.

I had a wonderful experience using RLE. Someone from the sales team worked together with me to get the exact digital lenses that were right for me. I have such a thick prescription! I was extremely pleased with the results. Their turn around time was good, and I had constant contact with them through email for all updates. It was really nice that they always let me know that I wasn't getting ripped off. You never know if you can trust business online. Will use them again the next time my Rx changes.

Ordered expensive lenses to put in new frames. Waited two weeks and got back discolored and damaged frames. [name] from RLE said that we are not responsible for frames. I asked what if you dropped them and stepped on them by accident. He said we would still not be responsible for frames. Read the BBB review. They got an F rating. This is the very first time that I got burned with and internet company. Should have looked at the Better Business Bureau rating first. Find someone else.

I sent my sun glasses to another company. They returned the glasses and said that they could not put prescription frames into the glasses. I then tried Replacement Lens Express. I was surprised and delighted when my glasses returned with perfect prescription lenses in them. I highly recommend them and would use them again in a heartbeat.
