Lived in one of their houses they manage for 3 years. You may say, Oh they must be great right? Nope. Moved in and had to hire a cleaning team because the previous tenants were evicted (Covid times), and they left it a mess. Literal piles of cigarette butts in the back yard. Found that the smoke detectors didn't work. Put in a service order for them to fix them. no response for a month, they then contacted me and said they didn't think it was their responsibility. So I replaced them. I was late on one payment because my brother was supposed to pay, had something come up (he is a cancer patient) and when I was contacted I paid immediately. Mind you this was the literal last payment after I left. After a $3000 deposit, they are trying to get me for the following items: Garage door repairs - This was broken before we moved in, we told the agent who walked with us we wanted it repaired and to have the GIANT dent noted. Paint - We are honestly lazy and never repainted a wall so this is basic maintenance. Spray paint gun rental - Once again basic Maintenance. So now they want another $2000. Why did I stick with them for 3 years? I went through a nasty divorce, where my ex ruined my credit and I became a single father. It was the best I could do at the moment. Now they want to price gouge me more because their tenants before me skipped out on them. Just don't rent with them. they will screw you over, and over, and over.
