Six months in, and the management issues continue uninterrupted. Every month, we receive aggressive emails and phone calls claiming we owe rent, despite our portal clearly showing a $0 balance and paid status. Management has proven completely incapable of fixing this simple recurring billing error. Dealing with false payment threats every 30 days is exhausting and unprofessional. We will definitely be moving at the end of this lease and cannot recommend this property management company to anyone.

Our tenant's lease renewal was due July 1st, 2026. The lead-based question was not allowing him to complete the agreement. Starting in late May, I called Richard Cain, the property mgr and asked him to contact the tenant. Several times a week, I would either email or leave a voice message, pleading with Richard to call the tenant. He simply wouldn't! In mid June, I called the home office, hoping they would tell Richard to do his job--that was a waste of time. The one and only time he did call, the tenant didn't have his computer, which he needed in order access the lease. This went on until the end of July--so there was no valid lease! It was irritating when we were told no other tenant had issues with the lead-based question--the fact is--our tenant did--so take 5 minutes and help him! I called Richard's manager--Tim Emery--and our request, he refunded our management fee for June and July--although it took over a month. He also agreed to waive the cancellation fee since we are ending our association with Renter's Warehouse (which is now "Renosy") The definition of crazy is doing the same thing and expecting a different result. Three years ago, we were going to use Renter's Warehouse and Gavin Kelly was to be the property mgr. A week before the lease was to start--Gavin didn't get the correct dates--despite numerous messages to him! We went with another company but came back to Renter's Warehouse--mistakenly thinking another property manager would be better.

If ZERO stars was an option, I would leave that. This company is a snatch and grab that is just collecting application fees. The agents have zero communication skills and their website is awful. STAY AWAY

I put in an application on a home in Plano TX. Today is the day, and I still have not received any answers regarding whether I can rent this home. They claim to be a hassle-free company and to give verification on your application in 24 hours. This is a total Lie! I have contacted the leasing agent for this home over 3 times a day for the last 5 days. You think if their job is to lease homes, they would do a much better job of actually doing their JOB! I have given the company until noon today to provide me with confirmation, as I'll need to reschedule my movers and look for another property if I can't lease the one I've applied for. If by some miracle someone actually responds to me, I'll take down this comment regarding my experience. If this comment is still up, avoid them like the plague, as there's a real reason they have only 1.5 stars!!

This company is an absolute horror to work with. They make it extremely difficult to contact and actively avoid taking your calls. The website and portal are not user friendly and they have numbers out of service. I would recommend nobody use them and a leading company and warn potential tenants too find other services if able. The worst company I have ever done business with.

I try not to leave bad reviews (don’t have nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at all). If you’re looking at them to manage your property, run. I’ve been using RW since 2023; at first, it was excellent. Then it collapsed. My POC left without telling me, there was no maintenance POC, basically there was no one managing my property for a while, so I had to coordinate items myself, and yet they still charged fees! Even this year, they can’t even process a simple maintenance request - “oh, we lost that ticket,” or “that POC isn’t here anymore”. It is impossible to get in touch with anyone. I don’t even know who the POC of the day is as of today. We are so excited to end this agreement with them and find a competent firm.

Lehlut of Renters Warehouse Maryland is so Rude and inhumane!

I had a very disappointing experience with this rental company. Communication was essentially nonexistent from start to finish, which made everything more stressful than it needed to be. One of the most concerning issues was that the homeowner somehow ended up with my personal phone number and would text me directly about things like her personal mail. That felt completely inappropriate and unprofessional. Maintenance was also handled poorly. Repairs were nothing more than quick “band-aid” fixes that never actually resolved the problems. On top of that, the home was not properly cleaned when we moved in, which set a negative tone from day one. It was also uncomfortable having the homeowner show up and personally watch repairs being done at the property. That lack of boundaries made the situation even worse. Overall, this was a frustrating and unprofessional experience. At this point, I’m just hoping we receive our full security deposit back without additional issues. I would not recommend renting through this company.
