These guys are definitely overpriced, but my real issue with them is they will lie about how much stronger their doors are than the competition. They use 20 gauge steel, which is standard at best, but they carry around thinner pieces on a key ring to make it seem thick by comparison. Gave me some nonsense about how bad the competition’s products are. I wonder how many people don’t do any research at all before buying from them. Their financing is pretty bad too. 10% interest is only a good rate if you’re comparing it to your credit card.

On July 24th the first day of the job, I notified My Rep. Roger that the door locks were incorrect. It has been over 2 month and nothing has been done to fix the locks! My rep. Claimed he would fallow the project and make sure everything was done right, Roger has done very little to fix the issues. The double hung windows are missing the safety stops, the back door has the wrong glass, and the locks are wrong. I allowed them to install everthing as the installers said renewal by anderson would fix things and make it right. Nothing has been fixed.

Locking mechanism on french door is problematic.Lock knob is very hard to turn. Andersen techs. tried at least 4 times to rectify but still a problem.
