We purchased windows for our entire home 6 years ago. They were very expensive, but good. Here's the problem: the service is horrible! 3 months ago a small rock from our landscaper hit one of the larger windows, and it fell apart. They gave us a date they would be here to repair, and never showed up. We had verified the date a week ahead. We have called on other concerns....they are the worst! Do not waste your money on these guys!!!!

Renewal by Anderson sold us five windows. They put much emphasis on sales - calling several times in advance to be sure we were expecting the in-home visit: a bright, charming young man with an elaborate spiel arrived. As the bid seemed no more than other quotes, and we thought the company's model of custom made and installed windows made sense, we signed up. We paid half up front. After that there was much less urgency from Anderson. Eventually the windows were built and installation was scheduled. The work was so bad it's almost comical: thick, shiny grout smeared as though by a child inside and out, nothing cleaned up from the process including a tar-like substance from the removal of old windows which has smeared & stained the pavers and continues to be caught up in shoes. Exterior cedar trim was replaced with random wood or rescrewed backwards with varying size screws. One large pane of set glass was replaced with a window we didn't order above an old window that was supposed to be but was not replaced - totally different sized windows. I'm so surprised. I can provide photos. The company has now offered to "squeeze us in" next month but will not outline what they mean to do or charge. I think there is a shortage of workers in our area and the extreme heat makes things doubly hard. We are willing to work with them if they would communicate.

On March 20, 2023 I agreed to purchase windows and doors and accept the financing they offered. The next day I called the sales rep and wanted to change the agreement to remove the doors and change the financing on the agreement. I was told that was not a problem and the changes would occur. After first and second month, I made multiple calls to my sales rep explaining I have not received anything from Lender that any change had occurred. I was told not to worry, sometimes these things take time. Well the install occurred June 28 and still nothing from the Lender regarding the financing change. So I called the Lender myself and was told it was too late to make any changes and the Merchant was the only one that could change it. Well Renew by Anderson, Tomball, TX location has ignored and abandon my calls and nothing has happened to help me fix the problem. The installers were great, very professional.

Our house had Anderson windows when we purchased it. The picture window now is foggy on the inside. They would not stand behind the supposedly life time warranty.

Horrible experience with Renewal by Andersen of Central Florida. Have a major issue with installation of new pool slider that was incorrectly located and installed and also still have a torn screen that they installed. The other deficient items were fixed and the service team said that the back pool slider had been incorrectly located and installed. My wife and I have called multiple times during the past three months to resolve these last two major issues, speaking to many different people saying we are so sorry and our service dept. is way behind then we are promised it will be escalated and someone will call back within a few days but they never do. The actual product is great, but installation and customer service are totally unsatisfactory. This service has been a disaster with no real communication on making it right. We spent 70K on this project and are not HAPPY!

DO NOT USE Andersen!!! We spent over $30k on 2 doors and the installation is horrible. The first day it rained, we had an indoor waterfall! The black hardware is also scuffed and to top it all off.....we have gone 3 weeks without an important "interlock piece". This part creates a big hole near the base of our doors, open to critters, pests and natural elements. Overpriced, over-promised, poor installation......do not use Renewal by Andersen. We would have expected better quality and installation for spending so much money. Also, all the door plates have "Andersen" written on them and it looks tacky, not classy at all for a feature door. Complete waste of our time and money.

Wish I could give a minus rating. Don't make my mistake & use this company. High pressure sales tactics, lock in contracts, long wait times, zero customer service. I tried to change my mind from a standard patio slider to french doors & they are forcing me to install the slider, otherwise I'll pay & get nothing. I'm mad at myself because I should've known better than to sign a "contract" & over pay. I hope this helps someone else before they sign on the dotted line. Terrible company. They should be ashamed.

Terrible a pressured filled sale when I asked for quote to be emailed 3 times never came wanted to come in person and pressure sale.
