Nobody answers the phones in any department but the ones designed to sell you something. They don't even answer for their own employees trying to call on your behalf.
"Billing department" just has a recording saying they are unavailable during the middle of a weekday when they are supposed to have hours 7am-10pm, or 10am-6pm depending on who you ask but neither matters because apparently they are just permanently closed.

When I pay 60,000.00 dollars for windows, I expected wire screens, THEY PUT ON PLASTIC, SO I HAD TO CALL THEM,( ANDERSON), AND THEY SAID, YES GRASSHOPPERS THEY ARE PESKY, AND THEY WILL EAT YOUR SCREENS. SO, I ASKED THEM TO GIVE ME METAL SCREENS, GET THIS PEOPLE, THEY GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE FOR 1700.00.

This Andersen conpany $52K vs other companies $15k same project…
This Andersen conpany was the fourth one we called, so i had the estimated from the others, the salesman was very respectful, we had a long presnetation about their Andersen product, at the end he gave the total cost: $52k for 12 standsrd windows!!!
Fortunately i had the estimate from their competitors. Long short story, we called one of the companies and they replace all those 12 windows for $15K and the result was very good, above our expectations. Can you believe it? $52k vs $15K? Crazy. Pleaee when you yhink in a window replacement project please call 5 different companies at least, its your money, not theirs!!

I am so sick of this horrible company
I am so sick of this horrible company. I contacted them in March 2025 about getting hurricane windows. We met with them, agreed on what we needed and how they had to look for our homeowners association. We were given the correct measurements , etc and said fine go ahead . However, they were to give us a 25% discount (still have not done this). We tried to contact them numerous times about various issues and would not hear back for months at a time. Finally, they were to put the windows in at the end of August 2025. However, they were not ready and did not get some of them put in until September 29th. However, they still had 3 more windows to put in. About a month later they put one more window in. Then, we find out that they had not made the one window and that they now would not be able to make the other window. They made one of the windows wrong(and not to the specs we saw) and but they had brought one(and the window that was there was ready to fall out), we had them put the window they brought in. The plan was for them to swap it out once the made the one for that window. This was to happen in November, was delayed until December. Then., we get a call that they would not be able to make the one window and would not give us an answer on the other one. Then, in January 2026(almost a year after our first meeting with their sales reps), we get a call from a corporate person who would not even let my husband speak and kept talking over him. Now, they still have not mentioned about the one window they were to have been making since September and they are telling us that they are still charging us for the windows that we will not be receiving. (This is theft) . In addition, even though we told them in March of 2025, that as long as they were made from the specs we had in the contract that it would be fine with our homeowners association, they are blaming us for the one window that they now claim they can't make . The only reason I went with this company was they were (according to their ads on TV), great at coordinating with all the departments at Renewal by Anderson. This has not been the case and I really don't appreciate them now stealing our money by not refunding the money for the windows we will not be getting. In addition, our house has been in chaos since September 2025, as we have had to pack things up and move things so they could get to the windows . Further, we can't get the windows inspected by the city and approved until all the windows are in. This issue needs resolved by us getting the 25% (we deserve more at this point) discount and have the 2 windows removed from what we owe them and then I never want to hear about Renewal from Anderson the rest of my life.

SCAMMED by Renewal by Anderson…
I was scammed by Renewal by Anderson (Charlotte, NC) salesman Stephen Zakariasen in May of 2025. He made false claims about the windows he was selling. He stated that by replacing my current windows with Anderson windows, I would be saving about half on my electric bill if we following his recommendations. The windows were installed in June 2025. When his claims concerning the return on the windows did not happen at all in the following months, I began making complaints. I was visited 3 times by techs and service people saying that the windows were fine. THAT WAS NOT THE ISSUE! I made that very clear to them that I was lied to by the salesman Stephen Zakariasen about the windows. I spoke to his supervisor Zeus R., who then referred me to the VP Doug Lampert. He also said the windows were fine and nothing else would be done. I STATED AGAIN THAT WAS NOT THE ISSUE! It was the fact that I was lied to and misled by Stephen Zakariasen. IF I HAD NOT BEEN LIED TO, ID HAVE NEVER PURCHASED THESE WINDOWS! I made it clear that if the issue was not resolved that I would look into legal council. VP Doug Lampert decided not to remedy this issue or make it right in any way. I am furious that Renewal by Anderson has lied and taken advantage of me and other customers. I see many patients throughout the day who I converse with. I have been successful in steering at least 2 people away from Renewal by Anderson as well as a patient who I urged not to follow through with the Renewal by Anderson company. She canceled her contract 3 days in, thank goodness. She said that the same salesman, Stephen Zakariasen made the same outlandish claims to her as well. I am disgusted by this company and at the fact that they did nothing to remedy the issue that their salesman caused by lying about the product. I will continue to make potential customers aware of the dishonesty behind this company and its people.

It's surprising that after more than…
It's surprising that after more than 100 years in business, a company like Renewal by Andersen still delivers such inconsistent experiences -- about half of customers seem satisfied, while the other half walk away disappointed. You would think that with time and scale, prices would become more reasonable or competitive, not more inflated. Instead, the costs are sky-high, and customers are often misled about financing options. It feels like everyone in the process -- from corporate executives to local installers -- is focused on profit rather than responsibility or honesty. That lack of accountability is what damages trust the most.

Gave us the wrong color sliding glass…
Gave us the wrong color sliding glass for with multiple manufacturing defects. When it was brought to their attention they said they would make it right. Well guess what? they didn’t. Just getting the runaround. Don’t fall for their sales tactics. They won’t make it right even thought they charge a premium
