I had a really wonderful experience in the one month program in Medellin. Of course, not every single second was perfect. People got covid and had to isolate, there weren't enough private call booths in the co-working space, certain experiences I wanted to do got cancelled because not enough people signed up, etc. None of that took away from the time I spent in Medellin with my RY group. It pushed me out of my comfort zone, which I had been in for such a long time. I did something that scared me and I am a better person because of it. My apartment had a killer view of the city, a hammock on the balcony, and a pool!! The experiences were incredible and the RY staff in Medellin (Gert, Alejandra, and Sebastian) really put their hearts into making sure everyone had a great time. I would recommend Remote Year to any of my friends who are looking for a wonderful group of people to travel with.

I did the 1 week retreat 1 week ago and it was great. Everyone was so kind and the hotel an activities were great.

My week in Costa Rica was so valuable; the perfect mix of a location that felt both remote, but safe, along with a variety of activities that offered local culture, group connection, personal reflection and even challenge.

The recharge retreat in Costa Rica led by Elena was amazing. Elena did a an incredible job organizing and incorporating different activities to build meaningful relationships. She was personable and easy to approach. I enjoyed everything about it. The venue was beautiful and the staff were extremely friendly and hospitable, yoga teachers (Sharon and Suzana) did an amazing job leading the workshops and all the classes. Accommodation was comfortable. It was great to be around such inspiring people.

I had a great time! The excursions, apartment, and work space were all awesome. I would totally do it again!

The community experience is what makes Remote Year special. I did a year long program and a one month program. I recommend traveling with a longer program if you can, but if not, I'd still recommend RY 100%. If you have a positive attitude and an open mind, you're going to have a fantastic time!

I really enjoyed my experience with Remote Year in Mexico City! The staff was very helpful whenever I needed anything. I initially paid an $800 deposit on a trip that I could not attend - they made it easy for me to apply this credit to a trip that I could take 8 months later. I would highly recommend to anyone who would like to experience what digital nomad life is like, and I plan to do another RY month in the future!

Clayton and Bernardo did a fabulous job creating a fun, welcoming and inclusive community, working round the clock to make sure we had everything we needed to live comfortably and immerse ourselves into the Lisbon culture. Communication was quick and responsive whether it involved an internet outing or informational tips on how to make the most of our time in Portugal. Obrigata to the RY leaders to make this introduction to a four month program a positive start!
