Cata and Maria are a stellar city team and so much fun to be around! They truly care about everyone having a good experience and offer so many different options and recommendations to accommodate all interests. Loved the Guatapé experience and going to Comuna 13 to play with the kids for the positive impact event.

The Inside Guide to Medellin
Catalina and María are amazing and energetic ambassadors for Medellin. Helpful and insightful, not just a list of “what to do in Medellin” but actual recommendations based on what you find interesting and like to do as an individual. The only thing I wish I had was more time with them — will absolutely reach out again next time I visit!

Medellín Remote Year
My month in Medellín with Remote year has been an incredible experience. I've greatly appreciated the community aspect and how incredibly hard the local staff work to help everyone feel at home and get the most out of their experience!

Beautiful country, amazing people
María and Catalina are amazing souls with bright energy. They curated so many wonderful experiences this month, were so kind and helpful, and lots of fun to party with! My highlights were Guatapé, Santa Marta, and the tejo tournament.

Makes working remotely in a new city easy
Remote Year is an easy way to live somewhere for a year and let someone else take care of the logistics (housing and work space) They also offer a lot of extra events (for additional cost) with trusted vendors, so that is great. The program tends to skew younger in age and more of a partying vibe. But even if that isn't your thing (it isn't mine), there are still other things to do and hopefully some people to do them with.

RemoteYear is FANTASTIC
RemoteYear is a fantastic resource to use if you're just starting out with nomadic work. They take care of a lot of the big administrative tasks (finding apartment, coworking space, wifi, etc.). They even plan different events that you can partake in! Such a great experience with them.

Insta-friends!
One word: insta-friends! As a solo traveler I rarely met people, let alone made friends. But with RemoteYear, the people who are attracted to it are in the same situation and they’re thirsty to engage and interact. The activities of course were great but they were just the excuse to socialize. The real meat and potatoes for me was the friendship.

An Unforgettable 10-Day Study Abroad…
An Unforgettable 10-Day Study Abroad Journey: A Perfect Blend of Learning, Adventure, and Friendship.
I recently had the privilege of embarking on a remarkable 10-day study abroad trip, and let me just say, it was an absolute dream come true! From the very beginning, this immersive experience exceeded all my expectations, thanks to the incredible group leader, Elena, the scrumptious food, and the lifelong friendships that blossomed along the way.
First and foremost, I cannot praise Elena enough for her exceptional leadership skills. Her enthusiasm and expertise truly made this study abroad trip an unforgettable adventure. She effortlessly guided us through the intricate maze of cultural landmarks and educational visits, all while ensuring that each and every one of us felt safe, engaged, and inspired. Elena's deep knowledge of the destination and her ability to seamlessly integrate learning opportunities into our daily activities enriched our experience in profound ways.
One of the highlights of this journey was undoubtedly the gastronomic delight we experienced throughout. The local cuisine was an explosion of flavors, tantalizing our taste buds and introducing us to a whole new world of culinary wonders. From savoring mouthwatering street food to indulging in authentic traditional dishes, every meal was a celebration of local culture and a feast for our senses.
However, what truly made this trip exceptional were the friends I made along the way. Our group quickly transformed into a tight-knit community, united by a shared passion for exploration and learning. Together, we navigated bustling markets and engaged in stimulating discussions about the culture and history of our host country. The bonds we forged during those 10 days are irreplaceable, and I am grateful for the lasting friendships that emerged from this incredible journey.
In addition to the enlightening educational experiences, the stunning sights we encountered left us breathless. The itinerary carefully crafted by Elena allowed us to immerse ourselves fully in the local culture, ensuring that we didn't miss a single moment of wonder and discovery.
Finally, I must commend the exceptional organization and attention to detail displayed by the entire study abroad team. From the seamless logistics to the thoughtfully planned itinerary, every aspect of this trip was meticulously arranged to provide us with an enriching and unforgettable experience.
In conclusion, my 10-day study abroad trip was an absolute blast. Thanks to the leadership of Elena, the excellent cuisine, and the bonds formed with fellow travelers, I returned home with a newfound appreciation for the world, an expanded perspective, and memories to last a lifetime. If you ever have the opportunity to embark on a similar journey, do not hesitate to book the trip.Trust me, it will be an adventure you will cherish forever.
