Remote Year made four weeks spent living and working in Split a breeze. Alaina was super helpful, supportive and informative during the onboarding and Dado and Ivana, the city hosts, were incredible and contributed so much to the overall experience. Loved the group on our trip, loved the city. Recommend to anyone considering it!

Cata and Maria are the best city hosts in Medellin! I met 12 people who I feel like I can call family in just one month of being together. If you love travel, love meeting new people and are open to adventure this trip is for you. You will find your tribe!

Remote Year is an incredible way to experience the best of some of the most iconic cities around the world and I cannot speak highly enough about all of the staff I've interacted with! My favorite destination has by far been the Athens program and I have to shout out the incredible city team, Nikos and Liza, for making my month in Athens absolutely amazing. The amount of knowledge and care that this city team put into the program cannot be overstated! Highly recommend any RY program and especially Athens :)

My one month in Medellin was truly magical! I legitimately don’t have one thing that I didn’t like about this month. The leaders Cata & Maria were amazing, so nice so welcoming & so helpful. The activities were a blast. My favorite days of them all was the Medellin corner to corner day, the day we went & played with kids in comuna 13, Guatapé hike/boating day, the day at Sebs, and the hike to the waterfall! Remote Year made it so easy to work remotely, meet new people & have a blast all at once. Also the group I was with were all so welcoming, accepting & loving! I love them all so much and I just loved this experience. I’m doing it again for sure!

My Remote Year 1-month program in Athens was absolutely incredible. The city team is one of the best in the entire company, and they went above and beyond to make it a truly special and memorable month. The activities we're well spread out through the month so that you didn't feel super busy/rushed and had free time to explore Athens and other islands on your own, as well. The living accommodations were perfectly located (right next to one of the best restaurants and best coffee places in Athens) and super close to the metro. Every part of the month was even more than I could have expected. Definitely recommend it to anyone thinking about visiting Greece.

My month in Floripa, Brazil was truly magical. Brazil is such an amazing country and Florianopolis is a beautiful place full of such much culture, scenery, beaches, mountains, etc! The people in Brazil are so welcoming and kind - especially the wonderful city team (Thiago and Val)! I have done 7 remote year programs (a 4-month program and a few 1 months) and can say this was one of the best city teams I have ever experienced. Floripa is super chill and has a nice vibe if you have been living the city life for a bit or are just ready for a reset. I would highly recommend checking it out if you get the chance! ◡̈
