Cata and Maria were the absolute best! From positive energy, to local recommendations, to checking in on the people in our group who weren’t as familiar with Colombia. I’ve done several trips with RY and the Medellin month was my absolute favourite. They ran such a smooth ship it let me focus on my work and routine, and enjoy the fun moments when I wanted. Don’t think about it, just book.

This was my first remote year and it was an incredible experience! While doing the 1-month stay in Valencia, the city was absolutely beautiful and our Valencia team was nothing short of amazing. Our city team ensured there were a ton of events which provided a great opportunity to explore the city. They also planned additional events, which were not required. I believe this allowed us to build a strong bond in our group. Marina was a phenomenal group leader, always friendly, attentive and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time in Valencia. From providing recommendations for food, navigating travel to various other cities and helping us get familiar with Valencia, she truly made our month awesome! I now have a travel community who I will stay connected with, who have the same mindset on work and travel. This experience allowed me to build a travel community, form new friendships and create memories I will never forget. I am forever grateful!

If you are reading this, book the trip already!! The Lisbon experience was one that you will not get to have alone or with just your friends. Portugal is beautiful and amazing and so is Lisbon. However RY saves you time and resources with their vendors selected, and ease of booking experiences. Additionally, RY staff members locally on the ground add so much more than a face or friendly smiles. City Team members both Pedro and Viviana were amazing and offered a great experience, great city hosts, genuine support and passion for the people and the city. And if you are lucky to have an amazing Community Leader (4 & 12 month programs) while you are there for 1 month, then you should also play the lottery. Just saying. Thank you Lisbon Team for Everything!

The 1-month experience in Valencia, Spain this summer was everything I could have asked for and more! This is my second Remote Year one month trip and our Valencia team (Marina and Julio) exceeded my expectations. They hosted so many unofficial events beyond what was required of them, allowing our group to bond and create lasting relationships. Valencia is such a beautiful city and is also a great home base for side trips. I took a weekend trip to Seville during my one month stay and traveling there from Valencia was seamless. I couldn't recommend RY Valencia and the Valencia staff enough! Thank you, Marina and Julio - you made our month unforgettable!

I participated in the 1 month program in Valencia. Not only is the city beautiful, but the City Team is exceptional. Marina had so many activities planned to help us get to know the city and also bring us closer together as a group. I truly believe having this City Team made the experience THAT much more special. This trip was transformational and I left feeling like I'd gained life long friendships.

My 1-month stay in Valencia with RY was an incredible experience. The group leaders, Marina and Julio, provided us with amazing community activities that I would not have otherwise experienced if I had gone solo. As hosts, they made sure our stay was comfortable, safe, and FUN! I am very impressed with RY’s mission to create a worldwide community. I can’t wait to explore more with RY :)

I had such an amazing time in Valencia. Not only was it so incredibly beautiful there but the group that we had made our trip so much more fun and wholesome. Julio and Marina were so attentive and were great leaders. They planned so much for us while we were there so there was always something going on. I couldn’t recommend RY them enough!
