Beware of Remote Latinos
Beware of Remote Latinos – I Got Scammed and Left Hanging! I started working with a client Remote Latinos matched me with on April 24th, and after a full month of work, I still haven’t been paid a single cent. The client told me after I completed the work that she “doesn’t have the finances to pay me right now.” And guess what? Remote Latinos has done absolutely nothing to support me. No follow-up. No accountability. No payment. Just silence. I’ve reached out multiple times, explained the situation in full, and asked for help—but all I’ve received are vague responses and empty promises. They’ve taken zero responsibility for placing me with a client who can’t pay. And now I’m stuck, having spent my time, energy, and skills for nothing. This isn’t just unprofessional—it’s unethical. If you’re a freelancer thinking about working with Remote Latinos, don’t. They’ll leave you completely exposed, with no protection, no payment, and no support when things go wrong. And if you’re a business, ask yourself: do you want to be associated with a platform that allows clients to exploit workers with zero consequences?
