Resume tool is terrible
Resume tool is terrible. I uploaded my resume and it deleted a ton of information that is important to my career history. My resume is only two pages so it's not too lengthy at all.

Human-first job huntingJob hunting, with you back in controlRemoteHunter is an AI-powered job board that keeps you, the human, firmly in charge. We use AI where it actually works, and nowhere that it doesn't.Over the past two decades, the job hunt has become increasingly anti-human. It's trivial for companies to post vague, ghost, or outright scam jobs, then bury them behind massive application forms that ask for information already sitting in your resume. For the average person, the whole thing is a bureaucratic, Kafkaesque mess. That's why we built RemoteHunter to:✓ Surface great jobs from hidden sources the big boards like Indeed never reach.✓ Cut the waste-of-time listings with opaque salaries and vague descriptions.✓ Generate tailored resumes and cover letters in seconds, all yours to customize and edit.✓ Quick-apply without retyping the same 30 fields over and over. The result is a job search that respects your time and your judgment. You decide which jobs are worth your energy. You own every word of your application. RemoteHunter AI just clears the busywork out of the way, so you can focus on what actually matters: landing the right remote job, and landing it faster.Find remote jobs →How we save you timeA closer look at how we do it.Four ways RemoteHunter takes the grind out of the hunt.🔍 Find jobs others missWe pull real remote roles from hidden sources the big boards overlook, then run an extra pass to catch the sneaky "remote" jobs that actually require travel or office days. Real remote, labeled honestly.🎯 Filter out the noiseClear filters for transparent salary, skills, experience, and company legitimacy. Upload your resume and every job gets a personal Match Score, ranked to how well it fits you.📝 Tailor your resume instantlyApplicant tracking systems (ATS) score your resume on keywords before a human ever sees it, filtering out strong people who "only" hit 70–80%. One click optimizes yours for the job. Keep what you like, cut what you don't.⚡ Quick A

Cover letters are absolute trash. You hope a recruiter never sees them. Resume revisions include improper punctuation that is tedious and irritating to have to repeatedly edit.

We're sorry to hear the cover letters and resume revisions haven't been hitting the mark! We've reached out via email as we'd love to better understand your experience and help get this sorted out.

I applied for multiple jobs through this portal, but I barely receive any responses. Many job postings labeled as "remote" are only available to U.S. citizens or veterans. There should be equal job opportunities for everyone around the world; this app should operate globally, allowing anyone from anywhere to apply and get hired. Although I am an accountant, I have also applied for basic data entry jobs and still haven't heard back from any of them. It would be helpful if the listings specified that non-U.S. citizens should not sign up if the companies only hire U.S. citizens.

Not many available jobs for remote, resumes do not have name in file name, have to rename every time
Response from RemoteHunterJul 20, 2026
Thanks for the feedback! We actually have a wide range of remote listings across many industries, so it may be worth adjusting your search filters to surface more relevant roles. We've also reached out via email regarding the resume file name issue as we'd love to get more details to look into it properly.
