Disappointing experience. My money was held up, and the recipient did not receive it when expected. Customer support repeatedly blamed issues with their banking partner but gave me no clear timeline or useful resolution. When you trust an app to transfer money, you need reliable service and honest updates. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this app.

The worst application i have ever seen in my entire life. They promised a transfer rate when im executing the transaction but there was no recipt when i have initiated the transaction. No acknowledgment that the money has been deducted from my bank account. And finally they said the money has been delivered and now i have no clue who to reach out to as their customer service reps are saying they are actively working on it.

I have transferred $2500, status say delivered without crediting to INR account. useless customer service, not responding, there is to contact number. I am going to file a complaint

It is great service for small or big transfers. Customer service is exceptional.

Their chat support is very quick over WhatsApp (I tried in California Day time) and the rate is best than any other, but it's only for NRO account. I wish the same best rate they could make for NRE account as well, since people residing aboard use NRE account more than NRO.

I chose Xpat Money because they consistently offer very competitive exchange rates, which is definitely one of their biggest strengths. However, my experience with the service has been disappointing when it comes to execution. The biggest issue is the lack of timely remittances. Transfers often take longer than expected, making it unreliable when funds need to reach the recipient on time. On top of that, customer support has been difficult to reach and hasn't been very helpful in providing updates or resolving delays. If your priority is getting the best exchange rate and you don't mind waiting, Xpat Money may be worth considering. But if you value fast transfers, reliability, and responsive customer service, there are better alternatives available.

I’ve been using Xpat for the past 2–3 months. Initially, I faced a few issues and even decided to delete my account. However, the Xpat support team reached out to me proactively, understood my concerns, and resolved everything within a few hours. Their customer support was responsive, professional, and genuinely cared about helping me. The overall experience after that was smooth, and I really appreciate how quickly they turned things around. I have been using Xpat money since its launch and have also engaged with the founder for resolving some of my account issues early on. I love their new NRE instant transfer - just tried it and got the money instantly into my India NRE bank account without hassle. Previously I have faced lot of issues using the NRO transfer with sometimes delayed transfer and then my bank holding NRO to NRE transfer for manual verifications. Direct NRE transfer is most compliant way to solve these.
