Buying supplies through insurance is a racket—prices are artificially inflated to double or more available prices through other vendors, and after insurance sits just below the cost of supplies through Amazon or similar vendors. Unfortunately, the insurance company doesn’t give me the option, so I’m stuck. This should be illegal. And from my understanding, it is common practice to abuse patients who buy medical supplies through insurance. As far as service, Reliable Respiratory has been civil, and timely with responses to all questions and orders.
