While making a curbside pick up on Oct 5th, I was greeted by a courteous employee to give my information. After waiting, the merchandise (a bicycle) was brought out and one again was greeted by a courteous employee, Jon K, who went above & beyond to assist in making sure the bicycle was secured on the bike rack for traveling. It is so nice to know that thru all this change, the employees of REI have kept their kindness and professionalism as a top priority as well as their health & safety. Thank you REI & staff for a pleasurable & easy interaction! Stay kind...stay safe...

I had to write a bad review this morning, and I felt the need to also write a positive review for a company that I think does a great job. First company that came to mind was REI. My experience there this weekend was, as always, stellar. This company just gets it. They are incredibly responsible about dealing with COVID19 in their stores, emphasizing safety and cleanliness. Their staff is always friendly and helpful. Their products are top of the line. And most of all, they stand by their products and provide outstanding customer support. A+ to REI!!

I have been a cardmember since 1969, bought at the original(?) multi building store in Seattle. I have shopped at REI's across the West and Midwest and ordered online since then. I have always found REI carries quality brand name equipment. Their salespeople both online and in the stores are very helpful and their customer service is good, fast, and friendly. I use the 20% off deal that comes with each annual dividend to buy one major item such as a car rack or Patagonia down coat. Thanks to REI.

I have been customer for 9 years, ive never had problem with them. Been ordering all through pandemic and have had no problems.

So far very happy with products, customer service but as others have implied, chat is a waiting line, easier to call their 1-800 number. Bought a bike online during Covid and it arrived at store just a few days later. Couldn’t be happier with a Co-Op bike but after 10+ days and over 100 miles decided to return for a few reasons as the bike could not be improved where i wanted to improve it without hundreds of dollars worth of upgrades and the bar end shifters (had I known) where not in my groove. Returning the bike was no problem when I went to the store and ordered a replacement (different bike) right their in the spot. Only problem was the sales rep. put the order down as ship to address which is $75 and the bike was supposed to be ship to store. Got home later, logged in to sit and this is where I found this info. Called the store and a rep. apologized for the mess up and said they would credit the shipping and still ship the bike to me. COOL I thought but still wanted bike shipped to store and have their mechanics assemble. Every time I walk into my local store in Chandler Az, the employees are very helpful, very courteous, and very eager to help.

Ordered my son a pair of Van's slides and the quality is great at a reasonable rate. They arrived earlier then the expected date and I will definitely order from there again!!

I recently went on a serious trek in Peru and had to purchase several items... from hiking boots, backpack, sleeping bag liner to a few clothing items. I don't have a ton of experience with outdoor equipment for trekking, camping, etc. so before trying to shop for items online, I went to my local REI store which was extremely helpful with answering all of my questions and providing advice. I ended up buying a few items, but they referred me to their website for a larger selection (certain sizes and colors were not available at the store) and not only waved shipping fees for me, but also expedited shipping, so that I could get my items in time for my trip. Once at home, I spent more time on their website to purchase a few additional things and once again received great service from their online support team (I had more questions). Most importantly, all the items I purchased were great and served their purpose during my trip very well. Lastly, returns on a few items, which I decided I did not need, were quick and easy. Thank you, REI... you helped make my trip a success!

Found this site and had interest in the hiking product selections. Some items are overpriced but they have good deals if you take a look around clearance and items under $25. I placed my order over the weekend and it arrived in two days. Very impressed and enjoyed the look on my bf face when he saw what I picked out for him. Got a beanie, nice tank top, & high grade waterproof hiking pants for about $75. Love the colors material is great if I could splurge this is a great outdoor type company thank you for your business.
