REIReviews of rei.com

Been a member since early '80's & their co-op brands have always excelled, usually cheaper and as good as or better than named brands. Now days I'm usually ordering online and I'm always satisfied, fast shipping & well packaged. Being a member has some perks that if you're quick & know what you want, you can get some fabulous deals.

I shop at REI for just about anything I need for my outdoor experience. The staff at REI have always been helpful with my needs and questions. If someone doesn’t know the answer, they always get someone else to help you. These people are the best that I’ve seen in retail. I’ve noticed how strict they were on masking, but I understand their position on this. They just don’t want to get sick. I felt safe when I shopped there, because they enforced masking policy so well. I have been a member for over 10 years. I just don’t see how people can complain about their service.

Overall this is a great store. There is a premium in the price, but I think they treat their employees well, and are one of the "better ones" when it comes to organizations servicing the outdoor industry in a mostly sustainable way.

REI saved Christmas! Went above and beyond. My order was shipped around the 9th through USPS, tracking but no progress, I called REI on 12/20 and the had merchandise in stock and sent again overnight through UPS. I got my package today. Thank you so much, REI and UPS. Also having another package (other company) ordered 11/30 sent through USPS and no updates, with them I’ll just have to wait it out. No reviews on product yet but customer service is awesome!!!

Have had awful experiences with LaserShip, so when I discovered REI had used LaserShip to send my Christmas purchase (I could tell it had been on the Lasership delivery truck for two weeks), I called REI customer service. Got a fast answer to my phone call! . . . 2 weeks before Christmas! They contacted LaserShip within an hour and my torn, opened, yet undamaged, gift was delivered 4 days later.

Touting the Head Kore ski with the Attack binding. Fun ski and a great ski for skiers looking for an all mountain ski. Quick edge to edge on the groom and very responsive in the deep. One of the lightest ski binding combination on the market. Add the lightness with Head technology and you have a ski in the quiver to go skiing with Larry Fale White Pass Learning Center

REI Bike Dept. has an over standard job and services. Staffs at SF REI (Brannan Street) are very helpful, good knowledge about their material. Specially a staff member name: Max. He goes out of his way to help me. I very appreciate it. Angela.

My goto store for anything outdoors. Everyone I've ever interacted with stores even in different states (California, Washington) are always very knowledgeable and are adventurers themselves, able to give expert advice on gear and recommendations for whatever activity you have in mind. Returns are always very easy, prices along with member dividends are unbeatable. If REI carries it I almost implicitly trust the product/brand. Their classes are also run by experts and you can learn a lot just about everything - everything from earthquake preparedness to backpacking gear. Also really appreciated how the management made sure to take paycuts in the recent COVID crisis to make sure their employees are still working - that is dedication. Will be a customer for many years to come.
