It can be pricy but the products I've bought here have been high-quality. Also, their return policy (1 year for most products, even if used) is great.

Of all the places I've shopped in Pittsburgh and Raleigh, REI is the place where things (outdoor goods, like shoes, bags, rain gear) really seems to last the longest. I've got a pair of shoes from them that lasted 8 years, a backpack that lasted 9 years, and some other things that haven't got any wear. So yes, they are expensive, but if it's good enough, well, expensive is OK as it lasts!

I love shopping my sport goods here. Very nice quality and always good customer service as well. The first time i visited the store i was surprised they have an area of returned items for sale and it's way cheaper. Of course every item comes with information of how long was it used. Also loved the discount I had for being a new member of their club or something!

I’ve ordered 3 different camp chairs on online sites. Nothing came close to these REI GCI Outdoor chairs. These sit higher than your usual $20 ones. Plus much more sturdy & a bit heavier. Only complaint is the bag they came in is very tight. I’ll be making my own, so easier to stuff. But really love them.

Have always received great customer care and support whether it has been online, in-store, or over the phone. Recently had the pleasure of speaking with Debbie #120576, which really gave wonderful customer service and found a great solution to my problem. Will continue to shop and trust REI with my outdoor products.

I've been a member and shopper for 15 years or so, I always receive the greatest support in store. Online, i've had some really great deals i've been able to pickup too. Between the wife and I, we are in the store at least once every couple weeks. Both in store and online have been great.
