I like REI, always been really good about their service. I would give it a 5 stars but had to take 1 star away for 2 reasons. First, they don't always have the products you're looking for, either in store and/or online. They charge full retail price, already have the relationships with the vendors, not sure why they would choose one model and not the other. Second is what I just said, they charge full retail, it's like Nordstroms, I like their stuff, I feel good buying and wearing it, but sometimes the price gets to me. Besides that, I really like their stores.

I love it when REI has their sales online. The shopping experience is a cinch and you can have your item delivered to your local store if you want. There is free shipping but it takes a little longer.

Finally a company to buy from where you don't have to take things back for breaking constantly.

I truly massive range but be wary if you're European. There's an excellent range of good quality goods here and a lot of which are genuine bargains, particularly considering the exchange rate. Some of the brands are not all that common in Europe though and actually some of the more commonly European stuff (like a Merrell fleece jacket) I think you could find cheaper this side of the pond, even considering the exchange rate. Other than that though, there's some bargains here but mainly because of the £/$ exchange so keep a mince pie on it before buying.

An outdoors store and although US-based they deliver internationally. I've only bought from them once but got my gear reasonably promptly.

LOVE to camp, LOVE REI for their camping essentials. Everything you need, they have.
