Angie, Thank you for reaching out to us. We are sorry to hear about the circumstances of your claim. Travel insurance is a named peril insurance, meaning only covered events outlined in the policy are insured. While your circumstance was a covered event, the policy can only cover unused portions of your trip. Based on your early checkout date from the rental property, there were a total of 12 nights remaining on your reservation that you did not utilize for which you were fully reimbursed under your policy as prepaid, unused and nonrefundable deposit. We understand you are disappointed with the outcome, however, we are required to adjudicate claims according to the terms of your policy.
