DON'T DO IT! Stayed at the Martinsburg, WV location -there for a funeral. The place is a disgusting disaster from the front desk staff to the rooms. Has the look and feel of a half way house. Sketchy characters outside and loitering in the lobby. No sense of professionalism, the lady behind the desk came out to "greet" us by saying, "I'm working a double, can I help you." We booked a room that accommodated 3 people. We only had towels and such for 2 people -when calling down to the front desk to request another set, I was bluntly told no and when I asked why, I got hung up on. I went down to the front desk to confront the lady and was told I could only have another set if I brought down a set of the dirty ones. This was all while I and my sisters were getting ready for our Grandmother's funeral. There was a hole in the bathroom ceiling, the floor was so dirty, your feet actually stuck to them, the seating they have available was covered in stains, the coffee pot had mold growing in it...I could go on and on. Please, even if the price seems great -run from this place!

Stayed in Red Roof Inn located in West Point, GA, it had a 4.0 rating and it had to be the worst hotel we’ve ever been in. Dirty, a/c either ran ice cold or not at all. We paid for a superior King room with in room coffee and it didn’t have that amenity at all.

For years I’ve been loyal to the Red Roof Inn and am a member of their RediCard program for frequent customers. But I had 3 bad experiences in a row: (1) RRI Hershey PA: no grass to walk dog. Just broken glass everywhere. Creepy front desk guy who is in his room with door open and never at desk :( (2) RRI Denver PA: very anti-dog. Threats of $600 fines. As a result, parking lot was full of vehicles with dogs sleeping there overnight. Fans and windows open for ventilation. I would have found another hotel but they charged my credit card the morning before I arrived even though I was a RediCard member and my room was guaranteed. Manager refused to reverse the charge so I was stuck :( (3) RRI Staunton VA: I was attacked by an off-lead pitbull and injured. Half the hotel is occupied by “residents” who are homeless including entire families and dogs. It is very sad. Fortunately when I stumbled into the lobby bleeding from multiple puncture wounds, a nurse was checking in. I contacted RRI Corporate immediately and followed up. The manager pretended he didn’t speak or understand English. Red Roof 800 # connected me to Customer Service who promised they would be back in touch with me about the dangerous incident. And I haven’t heard a peep in 6 weeks. Very poor (dangerous) conditions from Red Roof Inn and zero customer service. Their slogan is fraudulent “Your friendly well-behaved pet is welcome”. NOT!

This review is for the Palmdale/Lancaster. CA Inn. We would only be using the room at night for sleeping, so the price was right. Wrong! We should have payed a little more for at least satisfactory accommodations. The first thing was the bad smell that hit us as we entered the hall. We entered the room and I sent the towels to be replaced as ours looked like a truck had been cleaned with them and they were not washed. Then I pulled back the blanket and it looked like someone had used it for toilet paper! I picked up the phone to call the desk and there was no dial tone but there was makeup on the receiver. Another trip to the desk where another lady was returning a plunger! I should have read all the negative reviews just about how dirty the place was and so in need of repair. I have learned my lesson.

BED BUGS, DAMP MUSKY ODOR & POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Prior to arriving after 11:00PM on 7/23/21, I made several attempts to contact the site by phone because we were traveling across states and expected a late arrival. When we arrived and I called standing outside of lobby - Looking at staff who still didn’t answer the phone. When finally able to check in, the room was damp with a musky odor and the rug was sticky. The furnishings looked as if they were pulled from a curbside collection of discarded trash. Upon lifting the mattress to inspect, alarming discovery of suspicious debris and a dead BED BUG. We returned the card/key and CHECKED OUT WITHIN AN HOUR. When requesting a receipt or verification of checking out, the desk clerk said he was unable, I’d have to speak to the booking company (Priceline) whom I called immediately to cancel the remaining reservation of the other nights. I was still charged for the full booking price including the nights that I did not stay! Priceline said that I was charged because Red Roof will not respond to their inquiry regarding my complaint. Most recent calls 7/29- spoke to Red Roof staff “Keema” who informed us to call at 10AM on 7/30 to speak tp manager. On 7/30 called after 10AM as instructed and spoke to “Andy” who NOW SAY the manager- Bob Patel, isn’t available until after 3PM 3:40 PM called and was told that “Bob, the manager” already left, call back tomorrow after 10AM and then the woman rudely hung up on me

I have never had a bad experience at any Red Roof Inn before a visit to Wichita Falls, Texas. The room had a cock roach infestation. There were dead cockroaches under the mattress cover on the bed. There was poison on the floor where they sprayed and did not clean it up afterwards. There was a live cockroaches in the bathroom on the bath tub. At least the guy in charge put down his cigarette long enough to refund our room. We were still out our time. I also have an allergy to cockroaches.

the worst experience ever ! first my confirmation email was sent with an address that they never updated stating that they moved to a different address . after calling coming to find out they had a new address ,getting to the hotel the room was very stinky so bad i could’ve hardly breathe , there was no remote in the room some lights wasn’t working and even had to experience rats eating up my stuff …. so much for finding a reasonable two nights stay at the redroof in and the worst experience ever !

My wife and I were traveling to Tennessee from Florida and we could not find a room at any exit in Georgia until Brunswick we got a room at the red roof inn and it was the worst experience we have ever had with a motel chain. It was 3 am when we went in and the place was filthy in the halls and our room was worse, there was looked like dried blood on the floors and curtains, the nightstand and was broken, the towels looked like they were nasty, the windows curtain was hanging from only a couple curtain hangers. We tried to get a couple hours sleep with our clothes on in the lopsided bed but could not go to sleep because of people running up and down the halls screaming. Needless to say we were scared of the environment and left after 1 1/2 hours hoping to never see a red roof inn again
