When we got to the hotel the lady was very rude. And also when we got to the room nothing worked except the TV meaning no light AC phone or water was working I then went to her very irritated and told her I wanted a full refund or a new room and she said get lost we did leave I did get a refund two days later

I pre-paid through AARP 3rd party booking. Not informed there was a $100 deposit & a LEASE AGREEMENT!! Upon getting my keys, a resident, who lived in the back (ghetto) voiced not having any water. I asked Carlos, NO running water? He voiced there was water on my side of the building. (LIAR) Went to the room (311), viewed a mattress on a metal stand, no box spring, burn holes on the comforter, cupboards falling apart, no soap/shampoo & NO RUNNING WATER!! I immediately left, returned the keys, stating that I do not appreciate LIARS & demand that all my money be refunded! I was told I would have to go through the 3rd party for that. Upon calling the 3rd party (Expedia thru AARP) while in the parking lot, we spent 45 min. trying to get ahold of mgment. When Ex did, Mgment LIED that the water WAS on! & would not release the $ already paid. THEIVES!!! I confronted Carlos with our conversation re: what the res said and my finding, he stood there looking like an F'n IDIOT as the mgr, kept on insisting that the water was on. I replied that IT WAS NOT ON AN HOUR & HALF AGO WHEN I CHECKED IN!! SB! I was charged for another room charge and the $100, that were both refunded. My original purchase was NOT! I will be reposting this review on as many sites as possible until I feel that I have been reimbursed through others knowing about and avoiding this place! The charge for one day at this place is about what the "residents" pay weekly. I asked a resident. The pics listed on AARP were luxurious compared to this place. More lies

Worse hotel ive stayed in.tv sucks.no microwave.just terrible.spent one hundred and nineteen dollars for nothing.

The review I am writing is for the redroof Inn in stafford,virginia me my husband and 2 children 1 is 6 months old.We had been staying here for 2 weeks until our housing situation was fixed. lets start with the major issue today when the female owner kicked me and my family out of the hotel because the maids did not clean the room or change the sheets in our room today. so i went to the front desk to get clean sheets,pillow cases and towels. The man at the fr[nt desk went in the laundry room they have in the office area and got the sheets and met me at the door. i then went a n d started changing the sheets on the bed and as i was putying pillow case on 1 of the pillows I felt someth>ng sharp stab my hand. my husband grabbed the pillow snd shookit out I f the case and it was a used needle. I freaked out coulf not belive what was in the pillow vase. we ran it to the front desk showed the guy he called the manager. The guy said he completley understood y i was so upset he said that is terriable and asked what we wanted them to do. and before i could sayanything the front desk man said. the owner is coming right away a customer told me to to put a bunch of sanitizer on my m hand right away.nd and wash it. so i did the owner pulls up with her kids in the car about 10 mins later. my husband and I were standing outside in front of the doors waaiting for her she walked right passed us and went around to the inside of the desk with the man who was working. i walk up to the desk she blurts out I can move ur room or give ur money back for 2nite. I said thays all ur gonna say. i said i dont need a new room becuse the needle cme from the pillow case while i was changing the sheets. she sid i dont believe u my jouse keepers would have felt the needle. i said the obviously left it in there. she said i think its urs and i want u to leave u have a hour or i will call the cops. she is a suck owner of the hotel and she has no regaurds for any of her guests. when she said u american think u can do what ever anf i will pay. she does not belong having any ownership of any tjing in america to talk to us that way when it was defitnitly het fault because that hotel is descusting with nasty aunys aall over the room the place is so dirty. Then because she is from pakastan and thinks she can treat americans like crap in our country. I would never stay here evwr again. please everyone you should boycott this hotel the owners are racist against Americans and she has not even refunded my money. the hotel alone is so nasty. the toilets dont flush and the place is always dirty. they r to cheap to have any breakfast. i will have to wait 6 months to see if i got anytjing from that needle. she would not give it ba c k to me to take it to the hospitl. she said no . well if she said it was mine why wohld she not allow me to take it to the hospital so they could test it?? They also own the best western in stafford!!

I only gave 1 star because I had to in order to tell EVERYONE NEVER STAY AT ONE OF THESE HOTELS We had a confirmed reservations to arrive on 8/20 and on 8/19 at 419pm they canceled my reservation and lied ad to why

This review is for the Red Roof Inn in Bowling Green Kentucky. (Had 2 rooms) First off they want a $250 deposit per room, yes $500 for two rooms!! And these double bed rooms are tiny! Extremely small. It was absolutely one of the most disgusting hotels I have stayed in in all my life. We literally had to clean our own toilets that had urine and pubic hair on the toilet seats. The comforters look like they had been there for years, dirty, cigarette burn holes. And this was in a supposedly NONE SMOKING room. There were cobwebs, dirt and dead bugs in every corner. The shower curtains look like they have never been cleaned or changed out since opening, completely stained brown with the bottoms unraveled and tattered. Mold and filth was coming out of the cracks of the bathtub and the sink where you brush your teeth. The "clean" towels all felt sticky to the touch. The smell of the rooms we're horrendous upon arrival and still only faded away moderately when leaving 2 Days Later. The refrigerators and the microwaves were both ancient as well and dirty. There was literally rust and pieces missing inside of the refrigerator with one rooms refrigerator not working at all. We thought that the black from the bottom of our shoes was from walking around outside but with taking our shoes off at the door upon entering and walking around the room in only our socks we came to realize that the filth was actually coming from the floor of our rooms. We had to change our socks at least six times while staying there, each time our socks blackened to the point to where bleach did not fix them. The TV was horrible with only some channels barely visible, the remote to the TV in one room didn't work at all and the Wifi didn't work. There were no "do not disturb" signs on the doors and we got woke up to someone trying to open our doors twice in the morning from 8 to 9 a.m. If you're looking for sleep this is not the place to go, beds are hard air conditioners are faulty, smelly and loud. People are up at all hours of the night banging on the walls and stomping on the floor. One man literally stopped me and asked me if I could get him some drugs when we first got there. Lol. I made the reservation weeks in advance but when I got there they acted like they didn't know what I was talking about! I had to wait an extra 30 mins until they could find me two rooms next to each other, which was one of the things the reservation was made for! There was one certain accommodation that I asked for that they said that they would have on the Red Roof reservation line and at the hotel itself when I called prior to going. When I ended up there they act like they had no idea about anything I was talking about. The man up front was barely able to speak English enough to be able to communicate with me. I've contacted and spoke with Red Roof customer service and said they would have someone contact me and to refund at least half of my money. Then the woman who ran the actual Hotel emailed me twice saying she was sorry about my "experience" and that was it. And now Red roof says since there are millions of people who call in with complaints that they can't possibly please everyone and this is just one of those instances where they can't do anything. In my opinion these places should be shut down because they are by far one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. The pictures of the rooms online are like their absolute best of the best that must exist somewhere in California or something I don't know!! I have stayed in rundown motels in small towns better than this! We're just hoping that our family didn't catch anything from there. I will never stay anywhere that nasty again. I will never go back Red Roof Inn for the rest of my life! Please do yourself a favor and spend a little extra and get you a room somewhere else!! You won't regret it! Absolute disappointment and a complete waste of money!!!

I cant believe I even had to give one star I stare at a red roof inn in sottun mass ware me and my wife were verbally asoulted by a man and his friends that told us the had lived there for uppwerds of 2 years the got drunk in the parkinglot started hollering at us and threateningly to kill us and rape my wife I have a small child in the room and it try to call the front desk and was told it would be handled well three calls later and after being lied to about the police being called it have to call them after they come I wanted a refound and a room someware else witch i know can be done and was reffoused the man ends up going to jail and me my wife and there mounth old are set out to find place to stay not only are we tromatized but we are also loosing money from my wife not being able to work becouse of this set back and yet they still feel a simple refound is going to do it i have a reasonable expectation of safty when I stay at a hotel and this place has not met that expectation

I'm very sensitive to smells, room had a very strong chemical odor.. At first I admired the floor, before I went to bed I got a warm wash cloth to wipe my feet. I was completely shocked, it was BLACK!!! The floor was filthy!! Down the hall we heard what sounded like a huge dog, later my husband saw a man walking his dog in the hotel hallway. This is supposed to be a decent hotel, not a dog park! Then, breakfast packaged honey buns and bananas, one each, please! Needless to say, we won't be staying at a red roof inn again!
