The Red Roof Inn Joliet IL, was the worst place I have ever stayed in. I first checked in the lady that waited on me was very nice, so I went up to my room and the refrigerator didn't work and there was a big crack in the mirror I went down to complain and the lady was very helpful in giving me another room. So after I got checked in the new room I walked in and turned on the lights and all I seem was roaches, all on the night stand, the bathroom, and the sink, I paid for 3 nights but I grabbed my stuff and and immediately when to down to the some lady that was so helpful in the beginning to complain and she made it seem like I was wrong for complaining about the room I had to stay for the night because there was nowhere else to go that time of the night and was still charged to stay in that nasty room. I was so PISSED that I wouldn't recommend nobody to every stay there.

Horrible!
Red Roof Inn, Timonium, MD
First of all, the lobby was still closed for COVID even though every other business in the area is open. I had to check in through a drive up window inside the vestibule. They're also still playing the mask game and handed me a mask through the window before I could even get service. The whole hotel smelled like pot. The TV remote didn't work. There was only one pillow for two people on one of the beds. The room safe was locked open and unusable.
When I attempted to call the front desk about the safe, the phone rang off the hook and no one answered. I contacted one of the girls who was cleaning the room next to ours, and she brought us a pillow and a new remote but the safe remained useless. There were a couple of holes punched in the walls, and the lampshade looked like someone slashed it with a knife. We turned the heater off because the air coming out of it smelled like mold. Because the lobby was closed, there was no coffee. I wasn't about to use any coffee maker in the room based upon how the place looked and smelled, so we drove over to the Holiday Inn and enjoyed a nice cup in their open lobby with no mask requirement. I'll be booking our hotel stay over there for next year's Beer and Bourbon festival. The staff of the Red Roof Timonium needs to put more emphasis on the comfort of their guests and less emphasis on the politics of masks and COVID.

This is in regaDisasterrds to the RED ROOF INN
This is in regards to the RED ROOF INN; 26,300 Dequindre Rd; Warren, Michigan
They rented me a room for a week (prepaid) that was a disaster zone. Bathtub filled with dirt; toilet running continious; no TV; NO INTERNET; lamps not working; food rotting in the fridge and on and on. When we complained; they indicated they would issue a one day refund and correct the problems. They did not correct the problems and when another similar room became available, they moved us to that room.
Not as many problems; No Internet, TV no remote; toilet working off and on; lights not working etc.
Complained and we were told they would fix the problems; not so? They did nothing and then the
GM and night manager kept avoiding us.
They advised they would not refund anything in spite of commitment made.
What a disaster the week was!

Red roof inn arcata
Red roof inn arcata, CA. I don't even know where to begin. I wish I could post the pictures I took then I wouldn't have to say much.
Checked in at 3, went to our room started to unpack our stuff. The first thing I noticed was the base of the TV, it hadn't been dusted in so long I wrote my initials in the dust, of course this prompted me to inspect the rest of the room. I was able to write my initials on every table, there were food crumbs on the bed stands, some sort of dried gloopy substances on one of them and toothpaste spattered on mirror. I obviously wasn't staying in a filthy room.
I went down to the front desk, asked for the manager, the lady pointed outside where I saw about 4 employees smoking, "she's out there " was her reply. I have a complaint I said, she again pointed outside, then said "nope there she goes she had a Dr. Appointment".
I said my room is filthy she refused to look at me much less the pics I took. She said I'll put you in this room but let me go "check it" first. 30 minutes later she returns and gives us the room card. I asked if she had to clean it, she denied having to. Side note right as she walked away a couple came to check in, they also got to wait 30 minutes for her return.
Got to room number 2 which obviously smelled of cleaning chemicals. Fine, whatever. Went to use bathroom, the toilet seat was missing a screw it was almost falling off the toilet, not loose but sit down too fast and fall in the bathtub broken and the smoke detector was hanging from a wire from a hole in the wall. At this point I checked for bedbugs, none, the hotel must have been to disgusting for them.
I had to pay extra for microwave and fridge, the next day I noticed I did not have a microwave, I called at 12:30 and asked for one, returned to the room at 2:30, no microwave, left and returned at 5, no microwave. At this point I'm over it. Went down to front desk, same lady as before. Do you remember me , I asked, uh uh was her response again no eye contact, I asked for a microwave 5 hours ago, she shrugged her shoulders and again....I kid you not, pointed outside and said the boss is out there but it's her day off she's not gonna do anything. I said well I guess that makes it your problem then....here's the kicker, the phone rang she answered it, turned her back to me and started taking a reservation!!
At this point I'm beyond livid. I walk out front to a group of employees standing around a car, smoking. I said hey boss, boss, boss in a not happy tone of voice and finally the manager turns around. I pretty much give her the brunt of my frustrations, instead of apologizing for the crappy service I have received since I walked through the doors, she cops an attitude and doesn't understand why I'm so upset, uhm let's see, the hotel is a roach trap, I didn't get what I paid extra for, the employees including you spend your time out smoking(no wonder it's filthy), and the employee at the front desk has the manners of a slug, thats why im upset!!!!
I have NEVER experienced ruder customer service in my life
We decided to spend an extra night at the Super 8. It was clean, cheaper and the staff was friendly.
I will post this review on every website I can find, I'm also turning them into the BBB. I will initiate conversations just to get this story out.
Take a tip spend the extra 30 bucks, do not stay at the Red Roach Inn.

Went to Trevose
Went to Trevose, PA location - it's a welfare dump filled with degenerates, illegals and druggies on welfare paying for their rooms. The place was absolutely filthy and disgusting. The manager and staff were 1000% ignorant and refused to give us a refund - our room had curtains that would not stay up in the curtain rods, the TV was on, your couldn't turn it off, couldn't change the channel or work the sound. The management refused to fix it or gives us another room. I had to call credit card company to get them to wipe the charge off because of the horrific conditions of this hotel. We found lodging elsewhere that was clean, curtoius and decent. Stay away from Red Roof Inns! especially Feasterville, Trevose! Its a WELFARE and DRUG DUMP!

This is for the Red Roof Inn that is…in Dalton, GA. FILTHY
This is for the Red Roof Inn that is in Dalton, GA. The service people were great. Otherwise, I was shocked trying to turn on a broken lamp. The plug snapped when I tried to plug in my phone. The room was clean on the surface, but I sprayed and cleaned with disinfectant anyway. There was a cockroach in the room. The floors were filthy. After walking around on the floor I took a shower and my feet were very dirty. There was no Covid cleaning on the floor. It was dusty and we found a baby bottle in the corner. There was a smell that indicated no disinfectant had been used, especially on the floor. The TV had static lines on it so it was hard to view. The beds were clean and slept well. The owners of this Red Roof Inn should have an inspection as they are not giving employees the right equipment or time to properly clean. Also it is on them that the electrical plug and lamp shocked me. Not an employee issue, this is an OWNER ISSUE.

Red Roof Inn creates an unecessary hardship for an essential working nurse during the pandemic.
I am a nurse seeing patients out in the community. I am also a veteran. Due to an emeregency in my family I was forced to permanently move cross country with little notice. I booked hotel rooms at Red Roof inn for the trip. I had to delay my departure and went online to cancel the reservations. Two of the reservations were able to be cancelled with no problem but when I got to this hotel and the one in Little Rock I kept gettting a popup saying their server was down. I called and sat on hold longer than I will tolerate and finally gave up because I had other things to take care of to prepare for this move.
I then reached out again and voiced concerns about not being able to cancel the rooms. I contacted their corporate office and spoke to multiple people who told me they would refund the charges. The following day after they were fully aware that I didn't stay at the hotel and was unable to cancel the reservation due to their server repeatedly being down. After speaking to someone about cancelling the rooms and explaining that they need to fix their online sysem days later they charge my card anyway.
They literally charged my card the day after they told me they were issuing a refund. When I contacted them about this they said I would have to wait 15 days for a refund. I told them those charges now created a financial hardship for me and why would they charge the card?
I was then reaching out to their corporate customer service when I got through to the person in charge who we are not allowed to name in this forum but is named everywhere else. Accountability doesn't happen without names. sorry. He claims to be the manager over their corporate call center. When I explained the situation to him he simply dismissed me and gave me the same doubletalk and runaround. He then started literally talking over me the entire time I was speaking. Not interrupting but intentionally not listening and talking over me. I confronted him about this and explained that is was clear why they had so many customer service issues when he is conducting himself in this manner right in front of his employees.
Essentially Red Roof Inn Corporate representatives knowingly created a hardship for an essential working nurse who is out in the community treating covid patients. Not only did they create a hardship but then the senior leadership of your corporate office engaged in petty powerstruggles and unprofessional conduct in his interactions with me. This is the company you are giving money to when you decide to stay at a Red Roof Inn. More to come and I will be updating this will the full names of the people involved in one week if they do not take action and address this employees conduct.

Theft at the red roof Galvaston
The telivision came on but there is no programing, nothing. Also we paid for the next day in advance and an employee came into the room and stole personal property while we were out eating. The management said there was not anything but trash taken from the room. Both of us were aware of and know what was left in the room.
