Customer care useless.
Customer care useless. Issue not resolved and money disappeared. I have had the same issue fixed in minutes with other chain hotels. Unimpressed and disappointed. Never again.

Location: Prattville, Al Mattress was nasty. Brown sweat marks on the mattress. My feet were black from the filthy floors. Pillows lumpy and uncomfortable. This cost over 100 bucks for the night. I do not recommend.

I've stayed in hundreds of hotels and this was, by far, the worst experience I've ever had. I was traveling with a friend, who had cerebral palsy, who required an ADA room for his safety. He was told that due to current renovations to the hotel, the ADA rooms were given to other guests. During his attempt to check in, several other people stopped in to state that their keys didn't work. The manager wasn't on the property, so the amount of time to solve the key issues was excessive. When my friend checked into his room, he realized the floors were too slippery for his crutches and he couldn't fit into the bathroom. He called the front desk to find out what room I was in and was told that they didn't have a record of me checking in (I was only a few room down from him). He slept on the hard floor since he was unable to get in touch with me. I was later informed that the room I reserved wasn't occupied and reception wasn't sure why I was out into a different room. Needless to say, my friend was sore from sleeping on the floor, so I took him to a different hotel. Although the hotel's check in policy stated 4PM, they made arrangements for him to check in immediately so he would shower and use the restroom. He was unable to use the restroom or take a shower at Red Roof Inn. When I returned to my room, the key didn't work. I visited reception and was given a new key. I asked about the construction materials in the handicap parking spot directly outside the door but they didn't seem concerned about it. I asked if it could be moved to a non handicap space, especially one not in front of the entrance. On the second morning, my friend called and needed help packing his stuff from the hotel he was staying at. I placed my items and attempted to check out, but was told I couldn't get my $100 cash deposit until 9AM - 11AM. I told reception that this was not stated in the Expedia reservation and she explained it was in the printed paper I was handed at check in. I told her I wouldn't have stayed knowing I had to check out between 9AM and 11AM. I asked her about the construction materials in the handicap parking outside the office and the 2 trucks parked in handicap spaces, but she didn't respond. She didn't respond. Be careful if you intend to stay at this hotel. The staff and management doesn't seem to care about ADA accessibility, correct reservations, working keys, issues that arise or refunding cash deposits when checking out.

I'd give it zero stars if I could. First off I went to the wrong red roof by mistake. My reservation was for the other one in the area. Anyways, the guy at the desk just made up prices for the night he was a greedy a hole. I know rooms are more on the weekends but he jacked it up Higher when he went to ring me up. I told him I didn't have much money on me he didn't care.... the room itself was nasty!! Has mold on the ceiling by the door. The light in the bathroom made this really awful sound they said they'd come to try and fix it never did.....I asked for housekeeping Saturday night for the price of the room it should have been cleaned NEVER WAS!! I'm still thinking about talking to the manager there and getting some or all of my money back....that place was disgusting I will never stay at another Red Roof again!!! This one is stayed at is on Crooks road in Rochester hills. They are a bunch of crooks there took the money but didn't clean rooms or fix any issues!!

i stayed in the red roof inn in lexington ky on north broadway for 31 days spent $2500.00 They are rude and nasty. they need to shut this place down. i left a message for the manager 6 days ago and i still havent heard anything from him. they have a white lady that works the front desk u cant miss her because shes ugly as hell. shes pregidice and still thanks that slavery exists. she was very rude and unprofessional. she called the police on me because i asked for a manger. stay here at your own risk.i wish a person could give negative stars.

I would rate no stars if possible. Horrible! Parking lot was potholed, exterior patched with plywood. Plaster/concrete falling and I-beams rusting. The room had NOT been cleaned prior to our entry. Used bra hanging on bathroom door. Floors grimy. The room safe was an extra charge. Spots on mattress pad and sheets. Air conditioner sounded like a bad car engine. We were there for the total eclipse at U of Toledo and the clerk knew NOTHING of it nor could give us directions to the campus. The Red Roof was bogusly called Red Roof Toledo- University. As we walked in a residential area to find the campus, we spoke with two very nice locals who asked that we not judge their area by the ‘quality’ of the Red Roof. Look elsewhere.

I can see why this hotel chain has such a low rating 2.2 out of 5! The GAFFNEY hotel is misrepresent itself when it comes to their pricing. They are waiting one price online to book your room, but when you check out you find your bill has been padded! And don’t try to ask questions you’ll be dismissed. Once have your money, they don’t care. There are other hotels in town to choose from…. Stay away from the Red Roof Inn!C.Wilson

I stopped at a Red Roof Inn in Niagara Falls New York. I would it recommend this motel to anyone. Although the price was reasonable, old saying you get what you pay for holds up. The linen on the beds looked like they had not been changed or cleaned in a very long time. They were very dirty. When we asked for new linens they told us they would just cancel our room. No attempts were made to help keep us as a customer. Not very friendly. I have stayed at other ones and they were very nice and very clean.
