Of course menthol is an active ingredient in our pain cream due to it's cooling and deep penetrating properties. We can't mask the smell and that is why it is in the first line of our description of the product on our site. CBD itself is not always willing to work as a one-off. It often takes building it into your system in order to begin showing its anti-inflammatory properties. But there are other organic ingredients within the formulation to help with inflammation as well, such as arnica oil and capsaicin, so we of course are disappointed to hear you didn't find it all helpful.
