Great experience. Very useful.

Freeware that recover defect DVD with a 1cm long deep scratch. Commercial programs like overrated WinXDVD failed.

They are complete liars - guilty of deceptive marketing and fraud. They specifically claim the tool will convert Hushmail. However, upon downloading, all the Hushmail emails are encrypted gibberish so useless. They know that but continue to sell it as downloading Hushmail anyway!!! And they refuse to give a refund.

I was embarrassed to discover that several DVDs we received from our wedding photographer 10+ years ago were not backed up on our NAS. To make things worse, I could no longer copy the contents of the DVDs. I turned to Recovery Toolbox, which recovered ~40%. Then, I purchased a new HP DVD drive and could recover everything! We are so grateful! Pro tip: consider getting a new DVD reader before giving up on your restoration efforts; it helped me restore everything.

Original file contained more data than the file Recovery Toolbox provided. Very difficult to receive a refund, contacted the company multiple times and received the same canned response email. “ Hello, I’m sorry. But We have recovered maximum possible information from your file. We cannot recover more. It is not possible. We cannot guarantee full and correct recover because a part information lost or damaged. If you will find other solution with better recovery possibility then we refund order.” Contacted Paypal to assist with a refund, Recovery Toolbox responded to PayPal with the same canned response repeatedly. Do not recommend this service.
