This is a terrible company. They take your money and give you nothing in return that you can use. Don't trust them or get involved with them.

* UNBELIEVABLE - fictitious family history debunked * The researcher spent 3x the additional purchased time to achieve the customer's project objective of connecting to a specific American Revolutionary Patriot. Unfortunately, the historical record, in collaboration with national authorities, disproved the family narrative information provided by the Heidi, as her researcher pointed out within a week of beginning the project. HOWEVER, When she was dissatisfied with the results of not being able to support a "fictitious" family history, her researcher spent personal time redoing her entire project, at no additional cost, and connected her lineage to a different Patriot who was already accepted and vetted by both the DAR and SAR, solely through authoritative documentation, that she then ignored AND DEMANDED 100% FULL REFUND. Unbelievable; Unfair customer expectations. We certainly apologize that we weren't able to connect her family to an ancestor that has been in "family lore" for generations, but genealogy is about researching and presenting factual and concrete information, which was done and provided to her. That she decided not to accept them is not the fault of RecordClick.
