This summer reading program is a great way to build early literacy with a budding reader!

This is a great program to help your child to have a love for reading and increase their vocabulary.

The program is excellent in helping your son/daughter with its first lessons in reading and phonics. The teachers and staff are very helpful and the extra work done on the computer by the child each week helped reinforce the work learned during the classroom setting. If you want your child ready for Kindergarten then this program is highly recommended. Social skills were also taught without the children even knowing that they were interacting with other children and how each had a different view on the books read each week.

My daughter was right on the cusp of being able to sound out words before she took this class. She already knew her letter sounds, but not how to blend them together. She also already knew a few sight words. If we didn't take this class she would have progressed, I'm sure. However, she lacked confidence in herself. So she would often get frustrated and not want to try reading if it didn't come to her right away. Enter this class... Her confidence grew almost instantly. I believe it was because of the classroom setting, and a teacher who wasn't mommy or daddy. She loved going to class. She happily participated in class, and she progressed greatly in a short time. She learned her blending, all of her sight words, and she is now much less hesitant to try to sound out a word. By the end she could pretty much read the entire little reader with very little help. (The help was basically getting her to slow down and not assume what a word was before sounding it out.) The class was an hour and went by quickly, but a lot was packed in and the pace never dragged (which is important for little ones).

I do have a better understanding on how my reading was, and some weeks later, is much improved. Thank you, Ashton

Enthusiastic Master Reading teacher helps group of kids grow their reading fluency & reading comprehension skills. My child enjoys the online modules as well.

My 6 year old looked forward to the class each week. The teacher was energetic and kept the learning environment fun for the students. He enjoyed the phonics games. I found the different levels of reading assistance helpful.

I thought the class was well structured, the instructor clearly answered my questions with direct answers, as a parent that was important to me. I was looking for improvement in my daughters overall understanding of what she reads Its uncertain if she gained in that area. I also think that if the students have a summer packet involving English work that should be reviewed and used as foundation on teaching reading development.
