My son’s reading speed improved greatly according to the measurements that were taken. We’ll see about the study skills. The only reason I took a star away was because the summer program was described to me over the phone as a fun dynamic setting that would not be like a typical classroom situation... They sat in desks the entire time. My son was a bit disappointed, but admitted that he benefited from the program.

My son enjoy this reading program. It is his first time to join. The teacher, Ms Beary has so much fun in class which make my son enjoy it even more. I recommend the class for all parent to help and support kid for the love of reading.

Please, if you’re on the fence thinking about trying this program, please give it a try. It is fantastic fun, engaging, and such a great learning tool; especially for summer. We did the second and third grade programs and we will be coming back every summer.

This program was great. The biggest surprise I got was how much I learned! I learned how to help my child read better and I now have skills I’m confident in using the rest of the school year. So this program emphasizes the learning of the child but honestly I think I learned even more! I learned to help my child learn better. Before I think I fed to the frustration when we tried to read but now she is willing and able to read better because I know how to help and adjust strategies to help her read. And we loved the teacher! She made everything fun and relaxed!

My son’s experience in this program served him well. I have never seen my son so motivated to read and do his hw reading assignments. Seeing his reading fluency improved tremendously has help change his attitude about reading. Additionally, he Improved in work/ study habits. Teachers that teach from the heart will always make a difference in a children’s lives.

The class did help my son become a faster reader. That is the main reason for registering. I think it would have been better to receive the material for the class in the mail prior to the first session as there was a sizable amount of preparation for the parent in making sure my 10 year old got the most out of the class. The instructor was terrific. He even called to talk about my son's progress.

The program was very helpful for my 6th grader, helped him improve his reading skills for sure. Looking forward next summer break for another reading challenge for him.
