By the third week, I saw my child grasping the new sight words. At the fifth week, my child said, "Mommy I can read"! She got confidence and now she reads one of the summer reading program books every night without me asking!!

It was hard to make my child to sit and get ready for the lessons during summer break. But as soon as she was on it, she was interested in reading and answering text’s quizzes. She got that freedom to write her own opinion about the characters in the stories which benefited her in the end. But I felt like it was not a good value for the money because it was virtual.

The online class assisted my child in getting him ready for fourth grade. His reading and writing skills have improved tremendously. After school ended so abruptly with the COVID-19 virus I wanted to make sure his skills are on track for the upcoming school year.

The instructor was great, the books were just perfect for my child's level. Just the online classes should be a little shortened for kids 6-8 years old to 50 minutes. Overall, the experience was great and I will enroll him again this fall once schedules are set for other activities and definitely next summer.

My two children have gone through this reading program for the last two summers: 1 summer was in-person classes and the other summer was live online classes. Both were a success and kept my kids reading during the summer. The teachers were very interactive and engaging. I loved how the teachers would interact with each child during every class.

I originally signed up for the in person class and was not interested in the online or virtual class. However, COVID changed everything. I kept my 3 year old son's registration in the 4 and Pre-K program and I am so glad I did. He loved the online lessons, Bookman and the Let's Read reader and books. We are now 2 weeks post reading program and he is still using the online lesson program, enjoying Bookman, reading his sight words and still enjoys the books from the program. I would definitely recommend this program to any parent wishing to help their child learn to read or improve their reading ability. I look forward to next summer's program!
