Friendly representatives, but delinquent in overall progress of books supposedly being sold. I was really expecting a more overall initiative of success. I believe their intentions were good but unable to deliver as promised. I am still waiting for my 4 little books that were supposedly had been sold to receive the compensation. It's been several quarters and nothing to this date.I was told initially that all of my books had been sold but that was not the case. I believe that was said to keep me connected to them so they can profit by my participation, I was disappointed in the end. Such is life!! I still wish them the best as a company, I did believe in them to be honest and pure.

Hello Nadolyn, we’re grateful you took the time to share your thoughts. While it’s encouraging to know you felt our team was friendly and genuine, we understand how disappointing it can be when the pace and clarity of progress don’t match the hopes you had at the start. Your trust in our intentions means a great deal, and we take seriously the responsibility to deliver on that trust. We’ll continue refining our communication and processes so that authors have a clearer view of their journey with us. If you have any questions or would like any clarifications, our support lines are always open and ready to assist you. Your well wishes are deeply appreciated, and we wish you the very best in your continued publishing endeavors.
Job
While I fully realize this project is urgent, I disliked the persistent communication and pressure from my Project Coordinator, Brad Adkins; primarily because I was out of the country taking a much needed vacation from my grueling work schedule! I felt it disrespectful on his part and felt we could have agreed to terms and began the project upon my return from vacation this week. He also contacted me on vacation last December when I was also out of the country. It gives me the impression he does not care about respecting my personal time and his work is more important than me as a customer!!!

Hello Job, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We truly regret to hear about your recent experience and want to sincerely apologize for any frustration or discomfort caused by the timing and frequency of our communications, especially during your personal time away. While we understand the urgency of the project, it’s just as important for us to respect your schedule and boundaries—something we clearly fell short on in this instance. Please know that your time and well-being matter deeply to us, and we're sorry this wasn’t reflected in your interactions with Brad. We will take this feedback seriously and ensure it is properly addressed internally so that we can better align our communication approach with your availability moving forward. If you have preferences regarding how and when you'd like to be contacted, we’d be more than happy to accommodate them. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention, and we appreciate your patience and continued partnership.

There has been no increase in my book sales. My website has not been posted. On the other hand, the production and editing of Pains and Planes was excellent and quite professional.

it seeemed like pushing very hard for the next "sale" vs fully explaining the current process. person was very "read from the invite" and didn't go over cost until asked 3 times.

Rep was a fast-talker, very enthusiastic, etc. & sent me info very promptly to which I purchased entry into the Miami Book Fair the next day. However, I have asked for details like the hours of the fair, what my role will be, etc. since I will be going in person... I have yet to receive any more updates. I did get a call & a MAJOR push from a marketing person to pay for yet more for you to market my book further... & when I told them I was not interested because some of what they were now offering to me for an add'l $4,000+ was what has been offered to me by other booksellers to just attend their book fairs. Maybe I booked with the wrong book seller????????

The people are kind, but I want to see what they do for me and for what I paid for. And I’m waiting to see if my book is featured in the New York Times magazine.

not being upfront and honest was a big let down for me. I do not feel like a valued customer . yes ,everyone is polite but not genuine. every Author has different needs . I was asked what changes i need in the book when I expressed the change more money was requested, more money was requested for a hard back cover book ? I dont understand this.

Hi Monique, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We're sorry to hear about your disappointment and understand your concerns. In our standard package, we include paperback and e-book formats. Additional services like hardcover are offered separately as they involve different production costs. We apologize if this wasn't clearly communicated upfront. Regarding your requested changes, our team's aim is always to meet authors' needs to the best of our ability. However, changes to illustrations typically require involvement from the original illustrator, which may incur additional costs beyond our initial scope. We truly value your contributions as an author and appreciate the opportunity to work with you. Your feedback helps us improve our services, and we're committed to ensuring transparency and clarity in all our interactions.
