Ravelry is an invaluable resource for those of us passionate about our fiber arts! The site is cohesive and well run and there’s literally nothing else like it anywhere!

Ravelry is the greatest knitting and crocheting site. On Ravelry you can purchase patterns, some are free, and interact with other Ravelers through the various groups Ravelers have started. Being able to interact with a designer while knitting their pattern is amazing. Your are also able to receive advice, tips and guidance through fellow Ravelers who are making the same project.

Excellent site for fiber arts community and resources I enjoy Ravelry because it is a specific-interest website for knitters and crocheters. I love that it has a drop down menu for an individual's personal notebook, which includes a messaging function, as well as creating one's own library of knitting projects, yarns, patterns. I also like the navigation bar where visitors can go to find patterns, yarn, fellow knitters, groups, and a discussion forum. Public vs. individual is very well delineated ~ horizontal navigation bar for public information and vertical menu for individual information. I love Ravelry because they have provided a site to find patterns, designers, and yarns, as well as a wonderful, safe place to talk with fellow fiber artists all in one spot. It is an easy website to use. I love being able to create a personal database of my projects, patterns, and yarns all in one place as well as meeting fellow knitters in their forums. They are an inclusive community dedicated to making everyone feel welcome.

I love Ravelry. Knitting patterns galore, of all experience levels and budgets. Yarn advice, design advice, help on patterns and how -to's. I can find anything there. I use it daily.
Just a S.
Was a member from 2008 til recently then was told to leave even though I NEVER participated in any discussions or arguments; I never posted anything controversial; I never offended anyone; and, I never voiced an opinion of any kind. I simply purchased patterns, downloaded patterns and admired beautiful work. My offense? I voted wrong, in their opinion (in a free society mind you) in 2016. Ravelry displays Bigotry and Hate at the highest levels. Don't waste your time and money visiting this site.

Hate to give it even 1 star. Hateful, spiteful, prejudiced people. Technology isn’t great either.

A site that endorses and promotes hate and bigotry. They could have chose a neutral path but instead chose to promote hate, bigotry, segregation, discrimination and oppression.
