As a member of Ravelry since the very early days I have watched it grow from good, to better, to best. The level of the service provided by the site is second to none, a huge repository of knowledge, a great place to learn and grow and relate to people from all over the world, all walks of life, bonding and learning the skill that is fibre arts.

Great community, owned and managed by people who are prepared to stand up for their beliefs. Excellent database of knitting and crochet patterns, backed up by a marketplace for selling (and buying) those patterns, supplemented by discussion forums for almost any subject under the sun... sometimes we even talk about knitting and crochet!
