Ratemyprofessors rule has raised serious concerns about fairness and the overall learning experience. Some instructional materials and assignment directions have been unclear or contained errors. I followed the provided instructions, but I was still held responsible when those directions did not match the grading expectations. Students should receive accurate requirements, timely corrections, and enough time to revise their work. My review will focus honestly on the course policies, instructional materials, communication, and grading process. The policy should be formally reviewed and revised to provide clearer expectations and fairer support for students.

Ratemyprofessor is an irresponsible, racist and sexist website whose only function is for underperforming students to vent, and low quality compliments for clowns. It reflects nothing about teaching quality at all. It’s pathetic whenever such low product is treated seriously. It should receive negative stars.

I attempted several times to submit a factual review about my experience with a professor. The system repeatedly rejected it for unsupported characters or site guideline violations, even after I removed special characters and personal labels. Since I could not submit a legitimate critical experience, I question whether the ratings provide students with a complete and balanced picture.

I've been trying to get in contact with customer support for over a month. Their site posted my review for two different professors multiple times, and I wanted them removed. This was because of a site error. I haven't had any help and I'm so frustrated. I wish they had live chat or a phone number to talk to.

Well, most rating sites are unreliable today, No site is more vindictive or damaging than rate my professor. It is proven time and time again to be a place for students who felt they were unfairly given a grade out of context to rant and rave about Faculty. It’s not only unreliable it’s defaming and allows for disgruntled students in a context of being evaluated to rage against the evaluator. This is unique and not the same restaurant, Airbnb, or other types of websites. If students want education to be meaningless, then they should use rate my professor and follow the ratings accordingly. Professors will have no choice eventually to respond by dumbing down subject matter and giving students grades that they did not earn in order to retain their jobs. This isn’t gonna do anyone any good most importantly, our society and our culture. It goes to the character of the American student today and the overall character of our country. Cheap fast and free. We’ll see how everybody likes this culture in 10-20 years when no one can read or write, but they’re still raging with all their misspellings on rate my professor.

horrible doesn't let me rate

The site is a shame, full of lies. Whenever the student does not get what he/she wants then you have a bad review. If you want to review yourself 20 times with the maximum score you can do it. It is just a questions of creating fake emails. On top of it, the guidelines of that application threatens people who wants to sue them. Just read it!

I am a professor requesting access to the Rate My Professors site to rebut some ridiculous comments. Apparently at some point I made an account with my personal email, so my school account wouldn't work. I requested access and heard back once or twice from customer service, but now it's been over 6 weeks and they haven't fixed the problem. Makes me think that they are actively preventing me from countering the nonsense they publish on the site.
