RarefilmsondvdReviews of rarefilmsondvd.com

I have to admit, I was very skeptical that this was a scam site, but I wanted a very rare series (Five Mile Creek), which was discontinued. Only season 1 has ever been released on dvd. The other two seasons were only released on vhs. I paid for all 3 seasons on dvd. The communication was strange (which is why I didn’t give 5 stars), but I received 16 dvds after about 5 weeks, with all of the episodes on custom burned discs with ‘homemade’ menus. The quality is decent enough considering the original was vhs. I’m happy that I was able to get this series for such a great price (and dvds take up WAY less space than vhs cassettes). I paid less than $90 CAD after taxes for dvds, compared to hundreds for the vhs on ebay.

Ordered 2 DVDs, one that I was hoping had a scene that may have been cut in later versions, another that is popular but unavailable on DVD. Received within 2 weeks. Happy with my purchase. DVDs come unmarked, in cases with a smaller movie image on the front, and a brief synopsis on the back. Both played well. I will use them again if needed. DVDs are moderately priced. Shipping is reasonable.
