Promising Features, but Too Many Issues to Recommend Yet
I purchased RankScore primarily to improve SEO, rankings, and ultimately generate more leads. So far, I have not seen meaningful improvements in rankings or lead generation, and there are several areas where I think the platform still needs significant improvement. One feature I do like is the automatic publishing to connected blog sites. It saves a lot of time and makes content publishing much more efficient. However, the quality of the generated articles needs improvement. I often do not see enough meaningful reference to my actual website, services, products, or brand. If the article quality and contextual relevance could become closer to what I have seen from tools such as Opinly AI, the auto-publishing feature could become one of RankScore’s strongest features. The Site Health feature has been more concerning. Since using RankScore, it continues to report critical issues, even though my site was receiving better health grades before I started applying its recommendations. In some cases, after using the Artemis agent to apply suggested fixes, my score has actually gone down instead of improving. More importantly, I have seen recommendations that appear to overlook website security considerations. Because of that, I would strongly recommend reviewing every suggested change carefully before allowing the agent to modify a production website. SEO improvements should never come at the expense of security. The Site Health re-scan experience also needs work. The interface does not always clearly indicate whether a new scan has actually been performed, and using the re-run button sometimes appears to return the same information. I found a workaround by asking Artemis directly to force a new health scan, which seems to work better, but this should be straightforward within the interface. I am also still unclear on how to get meaningful value from features such as AI Visibility, Backlink Analysis, Keyword Discovery, and Keyword Rankings. There does not seem to be enough clear onboarding or practical guidance showing what to do with the information and how each feature should be incorporated into an SEO strategy. I may eventually find useful online resources, but the product itself should make these workflows easier to understand. There have also been some pricing and product expectation discrepancies. Some of the information I received before purchasing did not appear to fully align with what I saw after gaining access to the platform. Another concern comes from researching customer feedback around the product’s “one-time purchase for as long as the product is alive” positioning. I have seen users question whether the current product may eventually stop receiving meaningful updates once a newer version or replacement product is introduced, potentially requiring another purchase. I cannot say whether that will happen, but clearer communication from the company around long-term updates and product lifecycle would help build confidence. I also received an email stating that RankScore had “refreshed your credits to give you additional room to continue using RankScore.” This surprised me because I was under the impression that usage would not be something I needed to closely monitor. It raises additional questions about credit limits, usage tracking, and what restrictions may eventually apply. Overall, RankScore does perform some basic SEO and content-generation functions, and the automatic blog publishing feature has real potential. However, at this stage I feel like I am partly paying to help test and improve a developing product rather than using a mature SEO platform. The biggest improvements I would like to see are better article quality and brand relevance, safer and more reliable Site Health recommendations, clearer scan feedback, better onboarding for the SEO tools, and more transparency around credits, pricing, updates, and long-term product support. For now, I am giving RankScore 2 stars. I already purchased the product, so I genuinely hope it continues improving and becomes something I can confidently use long term.
