Signed a year contract. The sales rep promised that it can be canceled at anytime. 3 months into it, I want to cancel and there's absolutely no one to be found. The rep no longer picks up his phone. There's customer service number constantly goes straight to vm. No response to emails. This company is a scam. I'm reaching out too BBB next.

Still overpriced, still a monopoly
Still overpriced, still a monopoly (in my mind).
Small scale publisher here from Scotland. In the past I'd have been able to pitch to companies like Tesco or Asda directly by creating industry contacts. Now, I get pushed to using RangeMe as the only valid way to approach retailers. To do that I must pay a fee just to have that interaction. It would be ok if that was a reasonable fee, but it's wholly unreasonable for a small business. setting aside the pointless £99 fee level which doesn't even allow direct submission. Min fee is £1,399 but realistically you need the £2,499 to get anywhere. And that's only if you are VAT registered, try adding 20% on top.
Books, if most people don't know, don't have a high margin. You have to offer a wholesale discount of 40%-55%, and after printing costs etc you are lucky to make 1%-4%. So, if a book retails for £19.99 you'd have to sell over 15,000 copies to just break even with RangeMe's cost. Then remembering retailers can return any unsold books and claim back the wholesale cost, you can guarantee that sales figure is well over 25,000. Again, just to break even!
Why not offer services for small suppliers? Deals that are linked to successful retailer uptake? Or maybe a price linked to supplier size? Or, how about some kind of one-off submission cost to get in front of specific retailers. Or just share the risk with the small supplier.
Now I should mention the free submissions to Asda or Tesco, you can submit once, and only once, to the retailers. So, god forbid you add any new products to your portfolio, you just have to hope the retailer happens across your advert infested supplier page. Then there is the £99 fee just to add more than 3 products. It doesn't cost that much to manage the database.
But there is no incentive for RangeMe to care. They get a fee from the supplier, and I'd bet they get a fee from the retailer, so where is the incentive to do right by either party? And I can get it from the RangeMe PoV, why care about the small suppliers, they aren't value assets at the end of the day. So this acts as a monopoly paywall which actively disincentivises and disenfranchises new companies trying to get their products in front of retailers.
As a note, discount all the "invited" reviews and you will quickly see what people really think of the service. And then read the responses, they all read as AI generated apologetic responses. But actions speak louder than those responses, and RangeMe hasn't changed in the nearly 2 years since my first review, even though the response suggested they take feedback seriously and use it to improve.
Tried reporting to trading standards in the UK as a monopolistic practice or gatekeeper, but because you can technically still directly contact retailers (even though they push you back to RangeMe) and not all retailers require RangeMe (even though all major UK retailers do) trading standards does not consider RangeMe a monopoly or gatekeeper.
So here I am stuck, either hoping that a buyer from one of the major retailers happens across my tiny supplier page on RangeMe, or that RangeMe actually make changes that help small suppliers. Neither point seems likely to me. Until then I'll keep making reviews of RangeMe in the hopes they actually listen. PS, RangeMe, if you'd actually like to resolve this, feel free to reach out via my company details on your database. That's Pesky Publishing Ltd.

Most useless website on earth for…
Most useless website on earth for business. All they want from you is to pay for the premium plan.
Update: Almost a year now and zero views on my profile and product.
Response from RangeMeSep 18, 2025
Thank you for your feedback, and we sincerely apologize that you feel this way. We want to be transparent about our business model: our free platform allows you to create your product profile and upload up to three products, making them visible to thousands of retail buyers on the RangeMe platform.
While we do offer premium features for brands who want to boost their visibility, gain valuable insights, and get exclusive access to retail campaigns, we understand that this is not the right fit for every business.
We have removed you from our paid subscription email list. We can also provide resources on how to optimize your profile to increase your brand's visibility and help you get noticed by buyers.

Very disappointing experience
I signed up with RangeMe in 2024 after being sold on the idea that it was a great opportunity for my startup apparel brand. They offered a yearly commitment where I could pay monthly instead of all at once, which seemed manageable. Unfortunately, the service turned out to be nothing like what was promised.
The platform is heavily geared toward medical supplies, supplements, and established U.S.-based or minority-owned brands. For apparel and accessories, there are almost no real opportunities. I waited and waited, but outside of one or two scattered vendors, there was nothing relevant to my business.
When I realized this wasn’t a fit, I tried to cancel and get my money back, but I was told I was “locked in” and had to keep paying for a service that brought me zero value. In the end, I paid every month for a platform that was completely useless for my category.
If you’re in apparel or accessories, don’t waste your money—this is not the place for you.

We appreciate you sharing your experience. We're sorry to hear that our platform didn't meet your expectations for your apparel brand and that you found it unsuitable. We've reached out to you to learn more about your experience.
HI
Hawk I.
RangeMe is horrendous, unprofessional, and completely clueless.
I'll REPOST and change my wording.
Defamation is the act of making false statements, which in this post, I am not making any false assumption as this is my experience with emails to back it up.
Rangeme is a overhyped money grab. With NO Support what-so-ever...
I was asked to sign up from a contact at one of the stores who uses RangeMe. Upon trying to perform the registations, I couldn't find a category for my product. I reached out to support to get help. RangeMe blatantly said that I need to pay $99 for support. I couldn't get basic support from the company, unless I paid $99.
.... says.. no.. legitimate... business... ever... (scam flag 1)
While waiting for a support response, I went to another person's account, which had paid for their service. I surfed through the postings and found the store that had suggested that I sign up to RangeMe. I called that person (the company point of contact, the brands poc for the RangeMe account). Upon asking about the post, this person didn't know what I was talking about. After searching around and linking the post to them. They claimed they never made this post. So it seemed like RangeMe had created a false job post in their company name.. So after further investigation and calling different Corporate offices, I found a few more fake posts...
(scam flag 2)
After coming to Trust Pilot to put up a honest review. The company claimed my post was definition. Which it wasn't. Trustpilot also removed the post, even after I proved that the company refused basic sales support, by demanding money in order to receive support for a basic ONBOARDING question.
After coming on here, there are MANY other people who have similar support issues and lack of refunds from the company. Along with other similar concepts.
RangeMe is a typical Job posting scam. While they have actual corporate offices of some brands. There is no confirmation or way to show that they post real needs. It's best to communicate with those corporate offices off of this platform.
I'm settling me contract with the corporate office without using RangeMe. There is no reason to pay someone to get you in contact with someone, when their information is public. Reselling Public information is highly sketchy.

RangeMe is a B2B product discovery platform built specifically for retail buyers at retail chains; including drugstores, grocery stores, mass merchandisers, and other national, regional, and independent banners. These buyers use RangeMe to search for new brands and products in key categories like food & beverage, health & beauty, and general merchandise categories for resale on their store shelves.
If that’s not your industry or target audience, RangeMe likely isn’t the right platform for your business.
Retailers manage their own accounts and activity on RangeMe. Our team does not create buyer profiles, create sourcing needs, or impersonate retailer contacts.
If you encountered a buying team's need for certain types of products that appeared to be inaccurate, it’s possible you misunderstood its intent — or it may be outdated and no longer active. Either way, your claim that RangeMe generates “fake job posts” is completely false.
Regarding support, brands on our free plan have access to our Help Center, which includes onboarding guides and FAQs. Live support is available to paid subscribers, but we never charge to simply answer a question about getting started; if that happened, we’d love the chance to investigate and provide a full refund.

RangeMe charged us over thousands and nothing
RangeMe charged us over $3,000 on their Pro program with verbal promises to put us in front of relevant retailers 3 separate times within the year. We received nothing but email marketing from their parent company and when we complained, on several occasions, they hurried what seemed like a speed dating system for us to join which meant 3 quick meetings in one shot, just to get it over with it seems. According to their rep: "It's unfortunate to hear that the meetings were not what you were hoping for. To clarify, you would receive three free 20-minute face-to-face meetings with different retail buyers at the same single ECRM session, all conveniently arranged for you on the same day to help make your travel most efficient. The only costs you are responsible for would be your flights and hotel, if applicable. It would be quite difficult to meet buyers face-to-face if you're unwilling to travel to meet them, though." We would be more than happy to fly anywhere for "real meetings" that was more than a few minutes. Why would we spend thousands of dollars to fly to a meeting and it lasts less than half an hour? But lets look beyond the logistics for RangeMe, the issue here, is the false advertising and promises. This is VERY different to what was sold to us. We were told that we get to have 3 face to face meetings within a year. As a start up, $3-$4,000 seemed worth it just for that and that is why we signed up. Further more, after reaching out multiple times, RangeMe did nothing much to provide opportunities to meet legitimate relevant retailers. 7 months passed by and we had to complain to have them send us anything at all. We did however, in 7 months, received a ton of spam like offers from their parent company with very expensive intros to retailers.
DO NOT waste your money on their PRO program. Even after giving multiple feedback, they continued to come back with cut and paste customer service answers and provide no real support. After I turned off auto-renew, they offered 15-25% OFF. Why not offer that when a customer provides critical feedback on their program.
I wouldn't waste your money on this. It's too bad several retailers use their system in order for brands to get an application in. This company needs to take feedback more seriously and professionally and spend more time really helping new brands flourish for what they charge, instead of email spamming and false advertising and promises.
Bad show. If they respond to this and provide multiple reasons, I can assure you that at the end of this year, we have made zero dollars and seen zero retailers. Buyer Beware.

No one cares Range me anymore. Just a waste of money.
I have submitted some items for Target to review and it was approved according to Range-me and we were provided a link to submit a spreadsheet to set up the items. But, the category manager had no idea about the approval. It seems like AI is managing and not real person makes decission you can communicate.
Response from RangeMeOct 9, 2025
We're sorry to hear about the disconnect between the approval notification and the category manager's awareness. We'll investigate this internally to improve our communication process and ensure smoother coordination in the future as there are typically dozens of category managers and buyers within large retailers; especially those that also have an online marketplace. Thanks for your feedback.
